You tiredly stared at the ceiling.

Hard rain drops pelted at the earth, their sounds echoing all around you. The dark rain clouds shaded your room, leaving you in a depressed mood.

"I can't even go see koutarou cause of the rain, jeez." You sighed heavily. Flipping onto your side you amused yourself by watching rain drops race down your window, silently betting which one would win.

Goosebumps covered your body and stayed as you, being lazy, didn't decide to change out of your dad shorts and loose-fitted tank top. "Agh! It's too cold in this house."

You grumbled rubbing your hands up and down your arms. The rain mocked you at this point- it's hard rhythm became ruthless as water hammered down onto your roof.

Ring ring

The familiar buzz of your phone vibrated against the wooden nightstand, giving you hope for some type of entertainment. Sitting up, you reached over to your right and unplugged the electronic from its charger.

The screen, which showed you and bokuto in its background, presented your droopy eyes with a text from the person you needed the most.

No notifications rang after bokuto sent that text. His hand eagerly gripped the phone as he awaited your reply. The three grey dots from your side disappeared with no message.

His hand tucked the phone back into his pocket, now realizing the amount of water that had gotten on it. "Man she must've fallen asleep." He laughed, noticing how your responses had become more and more delayed.

The grey haired boy ran through the rain across the sidewalk. It was like muscle memory for him at this point. His volleyball jacket became soaked and his usually spiky hair now dropped over his eyes.

Pulling out his keys, bokuto opened the door and was met with a chilly breeze. "Y/N!!!" He called from the entrance before shutting the door and taking off his shoes. Bokuto shook his head like a dog would, somehow getting most water out of his hair.

His feet lightly tapped around the wooden floor boards, creating a creaking sound every now and then. Your house was freezing to say the least. Walking past the thermostat, his fingers pushed for the heat to turn on. Immediately warm air rushed throughout the house.

Walking upstairs, he turned right and went down the hallway where a oak door stood. "PEEK-A-BOO!" He yelled opening your door.

His smile faded but quickly came back as he looked into the room from the door and saw you in a fetal position, hugging the feathers out of your pillow.

Not saying anything else, bokuto walked towards your bed and laid himself next to you. The bed dipping down as new weight was added onto its frame.

"Kouatrou..." you mumbled, turning yourself around to face the volleyball player with sleepy eyes. Bokuto gave you a kiss on the forehead, letting his lips linger a few seconds longer.

His toned arms wrapped around your body, pulling you closer to his warm one. A small sigh left your mouth as the heat from his body instantly warmed your own.

Bokuto grabbed one of your blankets and pulled it over the two of you. Your legs became entangled with each other as you both nestled into each other's body's.

"Thank you for coming babe." You murmured into his neck, placing a small kiss after. His familiar scent drifted into your lungs as you lazily wrapped your arms around his torso.

"I'd do anything for you y/n." he smiled down at you, finding your bed head cute. You both laid in silence, only the patter of rain from outside creating noise. Within a few seconds your breathing slowed once more, and you relaxed against him.

"i love you." koutarou whispered. his right hand rubbed small circles into your back, the other keeping your head placed in his neck. It was only a matter of time before he soon joined you in dreamland.

Your body's laid together like a puzzle, hearts in sync with one another. The dark grey sky not ruining this intimate moment. Oh how wonderful rainy days were.
