after knocking out the window, we all scrambled outside as fast as we could. the reverend ran faster than i had ever seen anyone run to the electrical box, killing the alarm and the lights. alex motioned him to stay there.

"what now," johnny whispered.

"you two go up ahead over there, by the doors. we'll hide against the wall while you distract the guards when they come out."

brian and jimmy nodded in approval, making their way to the doors. the started hitting each other, screaming and yelling.

"well, that'll work," matt laughed. trust me, those two looked pretty ridiculous, but hey, it worked. after about a minute, two guards came out to investigate what was going on. yes! only two! we lurked against the wall, gradually moving closer to the scene. as we got closer we were able to make out the guards' faces; one i didn't know, the other was wilson. i looked over at alex. yea, he noticed too, and i could feel the anger rising out of him.

"alright," matt said, "i'll take wilson, you take mitchells."

"no," alex said, teeth gritting, "i got wilson."

"you sure? he's pretty big."

"i said i got him."

"ok," matt said, holding up his hands. guess he didn't know about what had happened between those two. we moved closer until we were right behind them. matt went first, creeping up behind mitchells and taking his neck in his massive hands. as soon as he did, brian and johnny took off running towards the gate, along with the reverend. gee, thanks for helping.in one swift motion, matt whipped the guy's neck around, snapping it easily. he dropped mitchells down right in front of wilson. wilson looked terrified, reaching for the gun in his holster. little did he know that alex had reached into his pocket, taking his baton. he swung it hard into the back of wilson's head like a baseball bat, wilson hitting the ground hard. wilson looked up, holding his now bleeding head.

"johansen, what are you doing!" he shouted. alex laughed maniacally. i'll admit, it freaked me the fuck out, and surprisingly matt had the same look i had.

"it's not johansen, you sick fuck," alex grinned, throwing off the hat he was wearing to reveal himself. wilson looked up, fear growing even more.

"varkatzas!"

"thats right. now suck this!"

before wilson could even cry out, alex crushed his foot through his skull. my stomach felt queasy.

"how do you like that fucker!" alex shouted, and slammed his foot down one more time. blood spewed into the air and on his legs. i choked back my vomit.

"ok, i think he's dead now," matt said, noticing my face. alex stood there, huffing as he stared at wilson's caved in head. he reached into the dead guard's pockets, taking his gun and whatever else he had.

"alright, let's go," he said, returning to his feet. we then took off running towards the gate. the reverend, brian, and johnny were already over it, since being assholes they didn't wait for us. we ran as fast as we could, but we were stopped by something unexpected. BANG! a gunshot rang out in the air. i hit the ground fast, covering my head. when i realized i hadn't been hit, i looked around. alex had done the same thing i had, and he looked at me, shrugging his shoulders. matt was still standing.

"looks like they missed us," alex laughed starting to get up. i started too as well, but i stopped when i saw matt sway. he had his right hand against his back.

"not quite," he said, removing his hand. it looked like he had dipped it in red paint. he took a step forward, but quickly dropped to his knees. i went to go help him, but alex stopped me.

"don't move," he whispered.

"why?"

"'cause you don't want to get shot now do you?" it was an all too familiar voice. joel! i looked behind me to see joel and benji standing there, both with guns. benji's was smoking. he shot matt.

"you fucking bastards," matt forced out, sucking in air. benji came behind him, whacking over the head with the end of the gun. i tried to get up to help him, but joel put his gun to my head.

"don't make me kid." i laid back down, defeated. he nodded to benji, who raised his gun to the back of matt's head.

"bye matt," he grinned, putting his finger on the trigger. i saw the tears streaming down matt's face.

"NO!" i screamed, but it was too late. i closed my eyes just before the bang.
