alex's pov

the night went by slowly and so did the next day. we sat around watching the clock for hours, nobody moving, nobody speaking. then it was time, ten o'clock at night. guard johansen makes his rounds then, and we had to knock him out of the picture. the plan was set, now me and kyakki just had to set it in motion. i fell over.

"OWW HOLY SHIT!" i wailed when i heard his footsteps drawing closer. i rolled on ground, clutching onto my left leg. johansen ran over, unlocking our cell and coming inside.

"whats wrong?" he asked, knealing down beside me and examining my leg.

"i was climbing up to my bunk, but i slipped and i think i broke my ankle," i whined, forcing tears from my eyes. shit, i should be an actor! he totally bought it!

johansen rubbed my back, shushing me. "here, i'll go get some help," he said, but there would be no need for that. kyakki came up from behind him and took hold of his neck, strangling him. i shot up and grabbed a pillow to cover his mouth. it didn't take long, maybe a minute or two, for him to die. once he was dead, we took off his uniform and i changed into it. nobody would stop me if i looked like a guard. after adjusting everything and taking the keys in hand, i turned towards kyakki.

"you sure you dont want to go?" i asked him, a bit upset by his decision.

"nah, once you're in prison as long as i've been, you cant go back out there. besides, someone's gotta cover your trail." he smiled. i smiled back, and we pounded our fists together. as i headed out of the cell, he called out to me.

"hey alex!"

"yeah?"

"live. love. burn. die."

"will do."

zacky's pov

i waited around for what seemed like forever for alex to show up. i didn't know where brandon was either, i havent seen him all day. finally alex came, keys in hand. he unlocked the cell quickly, letting me out. he was dressed up like a guard, which was pretty funny looking if you ask me.

"nice uniform officer," i giggled. he popped up the collar and smoothed down his shirt.

"pretty nice huh?" he smiled. i just shook my head.

"lets go get matt before you start getting any weirder," i laughed. we headed down the hall, alex leading, to matt's cell. he was already waiting by the bars.

"took you long enough," he said. stopping to look at alex. "i see you killed johansen then."

"i didnt, kyakki did."

"thats right, you dont kill unless you're paid to," matt scowled.

"exactly."

"alright, alright, enough you two," i intervened. there was no time for arguing. we headed down to brian and johnny's cell, then to the reverends. once we had everyone, we  headed down to the abandoned hallway, over to the hole in the ground that alex and kyakki had made. it looked like a pretty deep drop. i didn't want to go down there.

"come on," alex said, jumping down into the hole. i heard a thud, the an "ow." he had landed on his leg, but he seemed alright, brushing off his new uniform.

the reverend went next, landing on his feet like a cat. alex stared at him funny.

"dont be jealous of my skills," the reverend grinned. he was silly that guy.

johnny and brian followed, both landing fairly easy, stumbling a little bit on the landing. i stared down into the hole.

"your turn," i said to matt. he looked at me.

"nah its yours," he replied, and he shoved me into the hole.

"oh shit!" i yelled, but i was caught by the reverend.

"man, i do have skills!" he laughed, setting me down. matt jumped in right beside me, and i punched him in the arm.

"hey, easy!" he said, rubbing the spot.

on the far side of the room was the window alex mentioned before. he lead us to it, stopping before heading out.

"now the alarm will go off once we get out there, so somebody has to make a run for the box. who's the fastest?"

we all looked at each other. the reverend spoke up. "i ran track in high school"

"great. then you get to kill the alarm and the lights," alex said," they're behingthe only bush out there in an electrical box. we also need people to distract the guards because guards will come out."

johnny and brian raised their hands "we're good at distracting people."

"fine. now once you have them distracted, we will take them out," alex said, looking at me and matt. take them out?

"you mean kill them?" i asked. alex nodded. i seemed to be the only one with difficulty handling the idea of killing someone. matt looked at me and whispered to me.

"dont worry, you probably won't have to do anything. they probably wont send more than two out and me and alex will be able to get them."i hope he's right.

once everything was sorted out, alex made his way to the window, motioning the rest of us to follow.

"ready?"

we all nodded.

"alright. lets go."
