Chapter 14

DISCLAIMER - so i actually have zero idea about how weddings work and what happens at them so i would like to apologise in advance in case this turned out bad

You and Nat only wanted a short ceremony so that's what you did. You both invited the whole of the avengers and their families as well as a few friends from S.H.I.E.L.D and also Yelena, Melina and Alexei. The two of you also decided that you weren't too fussed about having bridesmaids or anything like that.

A month before the wedding...

"Hey, darling?"

"Yes, Tasha?"

"I was wondering.. how would you feel about asking Steve to officiate our wedding?"

"I think that's a great idea. Do you want to go find and ask him now or later?"

"I'll get F.R.I.D.A.Y to call him up. Hey, F.R.I.D.A.Y, tell Steve to come up to our room." After 10 minutes, there was a loud knock at your bedroom door.

"Come in Steve, we're not naked, don't worry!"

"Thanks for the heads up, Y/N. What did you want me for?"

"Well, Y/N and I.. We were hoping that maybe you could officiate our wedding? I mean, if you're up for it."

"Oh my god, yeah. I would be honoured but I can't guarantee that I won't cry though."

"It's okay, I'm probably gonna cry a lot as well."

"Me too, детка. And thank you, Steve." Nat hugged him before he left.

A couple of days before the wedding, you had to ask Tony something. You felt it was only right to ask him to walk you down the aisle. As you opened the door to his lab, he looked up from whatever he was working on. "Hey, uh, Tony? Can I ask you something?"

"Go ahead, shoot!"

"Okay, so, and it's totally fine if you don't want to do it by the way, would you please, maybe do the honours of walking me down the aisle since, well, you're the closest person I have to a parental figure and don't really know who else I would want to ask." You nervously smiled before he pulled you in for a hug.

"Of course I'll do it! I'd be more than happy to!"

When you pulled away, you were crying a little and you swear you saw Tony start to tear up too.

The day of the wedding...

You stood with Tony in your beautiful dress/suit (just pick whatever you prefer). You were super excited and also really nervous but hearing the waves on the beach was kind of calming. "Hey, kid, you'll be fine. Don't worry." As the music began to play, Tony took you by the arm and slowly started to walk you down. You hadn't seen Natasha's dress yet and likewise, she hadn't seen your outfit. When you looked up Nat was nervously looking at her feet. She hadn't noticed you straight away but she looked absolutely stunning. Her dress was so amazing and when she did look up, her beautiful green eyes looked into yours as you admired how pretty she looked. When Natasha looked at you, it was like she fell in love with you all over again. She couldn't take her eyes off you as you walked up towards her. She smiled at you. And it was that smile that only you would often see. To everyone else, it was rare to see Nat smile like that unless she was with you. "You look wonderful, принцесса."

"Yeah, but you look better."

"Aw shut up." She blushed before leaning towards your ear. "You'd look even better with your dress/suit on our bedroom floor and in bed with me." She smirked as your cheeks flushed red.

"Do you, Y/N L/N, take Natasha to be your wife?"

"Is water wet? Of course I do." Steve held back his laughter as he continued.

"And do you, Natasha Romanoff, take Y/N to be your wife?"

"I do. Obviously I do."

"Well, you may k-" Steve was cut off by you jumping onto Nat and kissing her as she twirled you around. Everyone who came cheered and clapped as the two of you announced a party at the compound.

Later at the compound, the majority of people had left or went to bed. Nat was asleep in your lap. Tony and some of the others were very drunk. Wanda and Vision had put on a sitcom to watch. "Hey, Tasha, my love, why don't you come to bed?"

"Mhmm, okay."

You stood and let her get on your back to carry her to bed after saying goodnight to everyone. When you were in your room, you both quickly showered. Natasha put on her underwear and a vest top since it was quite warm and you put on shorts and a t-shirt before getting into bed and cuddling.

"I love you so much, darling."

"I love you too, Nat. And I promise to love you forever." And with that, you both slept.

As for the honeymoon, let's just say a lot of travel and definitely a lot of sex...

AN - hey so, sorry for this being late again, i completely forgot to upload this but i hope you like it considering it's not really that great. oh and thank you all so much for 2k on this book!! i'm gonna do about 4 oneshot kinda things after this chapter and then when i upload my marvel one shot book and start uploading stuff for that, i'm also gonna put them on their :)
