After arriving back at the former Shortman Residence, the group went and did some stuff. As Lincoln and Ginger go to cook, Otto fed Gary, Twister went up to one of the former rooms, Samey headed on the couch and the DeVille twins tried to sit in an armchair.

Ginger: Well I believe it'll take a long time before telling everyone about leaving to start life anew elsewhere.

Lincoln: Like the Northwest Complex.

Ginger: What do you mean?

Lincoln: You know, the one place mentioned by the Northwest family where they said it would hold any survivor.

Ginger: The problem is that it is located far away. Which would mean all the way from Crossover Hills.

Lincoln: At least they left out information where to find it. Including in a time like this.

Ginger: Thankfully it's within the mountains of Pheasant Valley.

They (and everyone else) knew that Pheasant Valley is where pheasants live. The Northwest family at least gave them information about its whereabouts, despite being so snobby and manipulative.

Ginger: They may be made, but at least they gave information before the blast.

Lincoln: Which is to head down Buckinghamshire Road, to go through the Bantha Desert, Great Redwood Forest and Elk Plains.

Ginger: Now that's a long journey.

Lincoln: But we'll find the right time to tell everybody.

Ginger nods in agreement as they continue to cook dinner. Five minutes later, dinner was ready and everyone got to eat. Lincoln was proud of finding at least 6 more survivors. Despite Phil, Lil and Ginger being mutated.

Lincoln sighs knowing it'll be time to go soon. After dinner, Lincoln was in his room (formerly Arnold's room) looking at the ceiling and pondering about what to do next. Gary was next to him as he looked up at the sky, which was full of nothing but stars covered in smog from the nuclear power plant that was now destroyed.

Lincoln: *to himself* What do I do now? Finding my family possibly is one thing. But imagining many sur

vivors, that'll be hard. Depending on how many will survive the journey or not.

He then goes to sleep as Gary is tucked in his shell. The hours passed and Lincoln heard a rather unpleasant sound coming from downstairs. He gets up and grabs his rifle to go investigate.

Lincoln: Hello?

He at first thought it was nothing since there wasn't anything here. But soon hears it again. And whoever it was, Lincoln decided to go ahead and tell the would-be bandits that the jig is up.

Lincoln: The jig is up thieves! Either surrender or I'll kill you!

When the lights came on, Lincoln soon recognized the 3 figures. Chuckie, King Julien and the Lorax. Chuckie was in his season 1 outfit, but however he has an appendage that appears that his brain must've grown bigger while King Julien and the Lorax appear to be unscathed.

Lincoln: Guys?

All 3: Yes.

Lincoln: You're alive and what happened to Chuckie?

Chuckie: I got hit very hard by the blast when I was trying to escape from it.

Lorax: Thankfully, I found him lying on the ground.

King Juilen: But thanks to the blast, all my royal subjects, enemies and the friends of the Lorax had to retreat in my summerhouse. Including myself.

Lorax: We lost everything, except our friends. But they're safe for now.

Lincoln: Okay. Good to hear.

Chuckie: Is any of my friends or stepsister my any chance with you?

Lincoln: Only Phil and Lil.

But just then the twins appear on top of the stairs wondering what is going on. Phil and Lil were drowsy at first, but soon noticed Chuckie as the red hair ran up to hug them. Lincoln explained what happened to them.

Lincoln: Well at least we can try to head back to sleep.

They agreed and were soon asleep. The next morning, everyone had to pack up because it was time to go. Lincoln and Ginger explain it to them. At first the group were skeptical, but were soon promised with a new home and stuff. Even Gary agreed.

Lincoln: Okay, everything packed?

All: Yes.

Gary meowed in response too as he rode on Ginger's head. As the group leaves, they fail to see a silhouette standing on the roof of a house. Which is going to be ugly.
