The next morning came and Tommy was riding on Spike to go look for Kimi. Lincoln and the rest of the group (except the ones in the summerhouse) followed behind as they knew that Tommy couldn't do this alone. Despite the parkours and running, they still catched up with him as the purple-haired boy was determined to find Kimi.

Tommy: Here I come, Kimi. Come on Spike, let's pick up the pace.

Spike barked in affirmation and ran faster to find the vegan's hideout. The rest of the group follows after within the cart. However, Spike turns a corner to only stumble upon one of the Happy Poultry Farms: a company that farms all types of poultry (including the common chicken) for their eggs, feathers and meat. Pigeons and doves are sometimes kept here, but mostly to breed them and release into the city. Not to mention canaries and finches would occasionally be raised there for breeding purposes beforeing being released to pet stores. As before anyone can say anything, Tommy and Spike take off once again and ran into the distance.

Po: The factory farms?

Lincoln: Yep.

Twister: But why does Spike and Tommy wanna go through there?

Doug: I don't know, but I bet it has something to do with using it as a shortcut.

Spike leaps over the fence and the group follows them through by a gate. Which they'd left open and closed it back. Melvin pulls the cart around as everyone witnesses many birds roaming outside the barns. Which all of the poultry were finches, canaries, chickens, ducks, gesse, turkeys, guineafowl, pigeons, peafowl, swans, quails, francolins, pheasants, ostriches, rheas, emus, tinamous, ptarmigans, ibises, chukars, partridges and other game birds.

Rocko: Whoa! Crikey!

As because the small birds were a little bigger than they should be and most of them were as big as bison! As the rheas, emus and ostriches remain on changed after the blast happened.

Lincoln: I can't believe that radiation is that severe.

Not counting the rad chickens though as they are already devoid of feathers and are mutants. If that wasn't bad enough, the birds must've overpopulated. The water where the waterfowl once swimmed in was now dirty, nasty and full of a few dead corpses.

Samey: Oh god.

Whereas the canaries and finches were the only ones to fly away. The swans and other wild waterfowl flew away too and presumably to newer locations. While the ones that are domesticated can't.

Lincoln: I think we should release them.

Rocko: I guess you're right.

But before they can do anything however, they hear slithering noises coming from one of the barns. They got into a defensive position to fight the threat. However, out came from the barn was a gorgon. However, this one didn't turn them to stone as she appears to have reptilian eyes and tongue. Lincoln recognizes who it was despite this appearance, Susie Carmichael!

All: Susie?

Susie: Guys? Lincoln?

Lincoln: Thank goodness you're alive and what happened to you?

Susie: The blast turned me into a gorgon. I was in the barn because I didn't wanna be seen.

Doug: Then how are you gonna...?

Susie: Ya don't wanna know.

Ginger: Anyways, we're glad to see you again.

Susie: What brings you here to my hideout?

Lincoln: Passing by because we're going to rescue Kimi. She's been kidnapped. Tommy and Spike just came this way.

Susie: That's bad! Let me join you.

Lincoln: Okay.

The gates opened and all the enlarged poultry, rheas, emus and ostriches all ran out and spread into the deserted city. Susie followed alongside the group as they followed Tommy and Spike to find Kimi.
