Chapter five: Going to town

                                   *Oliver POV*
Ever since yesterday afternoon, my thoughts have been filled with a girl. She has been in my mind all night long.

                                    *Oliver POV*

"Yea, has she been always been a tart?" My brother Noah asked. He's asking about 'Pearly' aka Curley's wife. "Yea, ever since she moved here after marrying Curley." Respond Candy as he rolled his eyes. "But luckily for us, she's not the only woman on this ranch," Slim spoke up. Now that has my curiosity. "Really, Who are they?" Me being intrigued. But either Slim or Candy can reply, three girls walked into the bunkhouse darkly chuckling, one girl caught my attention. The short one on the left. The girl has brown curls, chocolate brown eyes, yellow earrings, an orange dress with a white collar, with some black boots, she looks like she got caught in a dust storm and she looked like she could've been Slim's sister. "Are they the newcomers Slim?" Asked the girl. "Yeah, that's George Milton, Oliver Milton, Noah Milton (they're triplets), and their friend Lennie Small," Slim introduced us. "Okay we know they know our names but what are their names?" My brother George asked. "Oh, right the girl in the middle is Coral Owings boss' daughter, Ari Webber my granddaughter, and Katty James Slim's little sister (I figured) Candy introduces each respective girl. Something about Katty makes me want to look at her.

*The next morning*
*Still Oliver's POV*

I walked out bunkhouse because I wanted some fresh while I wait for my brothers and Lennie. I looked up at the sky, it is pink turning orange, and turning yellow. Then suddenly I heard humming. My head turned to where the humming coming from and saw Katty sitting on a porch with a sketchbook in her lap. I walked up to her. "What are you drawing?" I asked. Katty look up and then smiled a little bit. "Just sketching the ranch," Katty replied. "Okay, uh see you later Katty." I saluted. "See ya," Katty waved with a pencil in between her fingers.

                                     *Noah POV*

I gotta say when I said that Ari girl is interesting I meant it. She is different from the rest of the girls. And the bad thing is my thoughts keep going to her.

                                     *Noah's POV*

"But luckily for us, she's not the only woman on this ranch," Slim speaks up. Now that caught my attention. "Really, Who are they?" My second oldest brother Oliver asked. But neither of my co-workers replied, and three girls walk in evilly chuckling. One of the girls draws my attention. The girl on the right. The girl has a black cowboy hat on top of her brown wavy curls that has been put into a ponytail, has brown and blue eyes, a red scarf around her neck, wearing a dark purple shirt with a lighter purple skirt, with some brown boots, she got dust everywhere on her, she has Candy's eyes (maybe his granddaughter?)  "Are they the newcomers Slim?" Asked the shorter girl. "Yeah, that's George Milton, Oliver Milton, Noah Milton (they're triplets), and their friend Lennie Small," Slim introduced each respective man. "Okay we know they know our names but what are their names?" My oldest brother George interrogates. "Oh, right the girl in the middle is Coral Owings boss' daughter, Ari Webber my granddaughter (makes sense), and Katty James Slim's little sister." Candy introduces each of the girls. By the looks of it, Ari is different from the other two girls.

                          *The next morning*

Before any of us head to town to do whatever we wanted to, we have to get ready and wait for everyone(except the boss, Pearly, the ***** Crooks, and I don't know about Coral, Ari, and Katty are coming with us considering they are practically workers here too ) to wake and get dressed. So I decided to have a little walk around here before we leave. "Heya Noah" came a cheerful voice. I turned to see Ari smiling and walking toward me. "Hey, uh Ari what are you doing here?" I asked. "I'm just doing the same thing you're doing, taking a walk before going to town," answered Ari. "Oh, so you and the other two are coming with us?" I questions. "Yeah, Coral's father let her go to town with the ranchers since she turned thirteen." Replied Ari. Huh, interesting. "ARI, NOAH C'MON NOW, ITS TIME TO HEAD TO TOWN!" Candy shouted.

                                 *No one's POV*

There are eight wagons for four different teams that worked parts of the ranch. Coral, Ari, and Katty have to sit on Slim's team's wagon because one, two of the girls' relatives are on that team, and two because they worked on that team all the time. Slim is driving on one wagon and the co-leader of Slim's team is on the other wagon. The girls always chose to sit in Slim's wagon. Behind Slim were the girls sitting behind him. On Katty's side are Whit, Gabriel, Josh, and Lennie. On Ari's side are Candy, Mike, and Zachary. In front of the girls are the triplets. "Is everyone ready to leave?" Coral's father asked. Every time they'll leave for town, Coral's father will always check to see if everyone is completely ready, right beside Coral's father is Pearly with a nasty scowl as if she had been told no. Unlike the girls, Pearly has house chores. Everyone nodded yes, and with a little smirk Coral's father shouted "OFF TO THE TOWN, YOU GO!". Everyone whooped and cheered, as the wagons started to move.

*In town*

"Okay, you girls got your money?" Asked Candy. They had just arrived in town five minutes ago. The girls need woman's supplies and Slim, Candy, Lennie, and the triplets are going to look around to find something. "Don't worry grandad we got our money right here," answered Ari, patting a messenger bag that's wrapped around her shoulders. "Okay, remember the plan?" Candy once again asks. "Get supplies, meet off at the cafe down the street and grab something to eat before heading back," Coral listed off the plan. "Good, now go have fun!" Candy released the girls. As the girls walk away, the triplets for some reason became hot. Candy noticed their cheeks become redder than they should be and then smirked. "Alright fellas, let's get us ourselves some new deck of cards," Slim said. And the rest agrees. And so they went to the stores that have all types of games.
