Okay, this is really the last one. Enjoy.

After our shower, we got dressed in some comfortable clothes and went into the kitchen to make something to eat. It was well after 2pm, and I had yet to check my phone or even drink water. I had four missed called and tons of email I needed to open, but I ignored them all to show Taehyung around the kitchen. He stopped a few times to answer his phone while we were cooking, but I figured it was his manager. He still had work, even though he was here with me. When he came back in from his call, he came up behind me to wrap his arms around my apron-clad waist.
"You look so sexy over a stove, baby." He murmured, kissing my ear. "Are you trying to say I belong in the kitchen because I bottom?" I questioned him, jokingly. Taehyung scoffed and gave my ass a smack. "No, you belong in the kitchen so I can watch." He said. I shook my head with a smirk. "Remember the first time I came over your house in LA? Did I look sexy cooking in your kitchen then?"
"Absolutely, those jeans were the death of my fidelity. Why do you think I kissed you? You look sexy cooking and those jeans didn't leave much to the imagination." He told me. I smiled. "That was the idea." I admitted, snickering. "Well, it worked." Tae told me, wrapping his hand around mine and stirring the contents of the pan with me. "This is so domestic." I murmured, contently. I could feel Tae smiling in my ear.
"Isn't this how we used to play house when we were little. One day soon, we'll have a place of our own and we won't have to pretend." Taehyung told me.
"how do you know we'll be together that long?" I teased. "Because I love you and I don't want anyone else." He answered. "I love you too, babe. I always have. I'm so glad I don't have to lie about it anymore."
"I'm glad you don't have to lie anymore too. . ." Taehyung murmured, trailing off. After a few seconds of quiet sizzling from the pan and the sound of his breath in my ear, he sighed contently. "I want to marry you." He said. My heart stopped and started again.
"So soon?" I asked.
"Yeah. . . but of course, we don't have to talk about it right now. We can just enjoy each other until we figure out what our future's going to look like." He said.
"Agreed." I nodded firmly, feeling my heart quicken in my chest.
Taehyung and I ate outside on the patio peacefully and then we made our way back into my bedroom. We changed the sheets together and then got right back in the bed to cuddle. I didn't bother returning any calls, though Taehyung was constantly checking his phone. When I asked him what it was about, he just said "work" and didn't elaborate. I decided not to challenge that, even though I could see he was a bit anxious. When he finally put his phone on the nightstand, his attention was shifted to the far side of my room.
"Why haven't you unpacked yet, baby?" He asked me, looking around to the boxes stacked halfway up the wall. I shrugged against his chest. "I don't really have much time these days between school and looking for internships. I've been putting it off." I answered.
"Well, I've been eyeballing that box that says 2005-2013. What's in there?"
I pursed my lips. "Just some old artwork, some toys, and my old camera. . ."
"Your old camera? Like the one you had when I was still in Korea?"
"Yeah. . ." I was apprehensive about showing him the footage because I knew it would make me emotional. I had him now, and he wasn't going anywhere, but whenever I watched those videos, it made me feel this strange melancholic nostalgia that I couldn't seem to shake off.
Tae crawled out from under me and dug out the camera from the beat up box. The battery wasn't quite dead yet, considering I had just turned it on when I moved out of my parent's. I couldn't bring myself to watch anything though.
