It's here 😊 I hope your day/night is going well. ^^Taemin: CRIMINAL
⚠️: this chapter contains mention of attempted rape
(^^Imagine this has two stories)
Taehyung and I arrived on set together, walking in each other's personal space just like we used to. He was telling me all about his days as a rookie actor and the funny stories from his first web drama. I couldn't help but giggle like a teenage girl every time he talked, but this time, I wasn't hiding it. Taehyung was still able to make me laugh, even if he wasn't trying to be funny. I was just happy to be next to him again.
Upon entering the casino's main floor, out of nowhere came Mikey Jones. He materialized with a zealous grin, like a genie who escaped his bottle.
"Good afternoon, Babe." He greeted Hyung, completely ignoring me in the process. I rolled my eyes and allowed myself to miss the peck on the lips they shared. Taehyung seemed surprised at the sudden show of affection, but I knew Mikey was just trying to mark his territory. If Mikey really wanted Taehyung's attention, he could have it. I was not about to play cat and mouse with him, especially when I had already spent the morning with Taehyung prior to coming here.
I gave Taehyung a curt wave and went down the stairs to find Jin sitting in his director's chair. He was in an intense, most likely creative conversation with Namjoon and their eye contact was undivided. Jin had tried to tell me before that he and Namjoon didn't have anything between them, but I knew chemistry when I saw it.
"Good afternoon." I greeted them both, sitting in my director's chair. Jin and Namjoon both smiled at me, pulling themselves out of their mutual trance.
"Good afternoon, Jungkook. How was your day?"
"It was great actually." I couldn't fight the blush on my cheeks and Namjoon noticed. "Oh, did someone go on a date?"
Jin chimed in. "Ooh, was it that cute waitress?" He asked, nudging my shoulder. I chuckled softly. " No, it wasn't a date. I just had brunch with Taehyung, that's all. We've been trying to rekindle our friendship." I admitted to them. Namjin exchanged a knowing glance and I raised an eyebrow. "What? What was that?" I questioned them. They both smirked and Namjoon spoke up.
"He always gets all starry eyed when we talks about you. He must have really missed you." he said. I scoffed. " Yeah, well he sure as hell didn't call me."
Namjin exchanged another knowing glance and I eyed them both pointedly. Whatever it was they were telepathically saying about me, it was wrong. "Anyway, have you read over today's scene, Jungkook?" Jin changed the subject.
"Yes, I have. I'm glad we're getting this scene over with. It makes my skin crawl." I told him, shuddering. Today was the day that Levi Cunningham would piss off a rather vile and powerful man by beating his way into a quarter of a million dollars. The catch is, this man not only wants to keep his money, but he also wants to hurt Levi in the worst way possible for the simple fact that Chester Cunningham, Levi's father, owes him money. Predictably, Hanseung saves Levi's life, but not before some very traumatizing things happen that will be a turning point for Hanseung and his relationship.
