The panther

Chapter 3

Dark Figure POV -

Desmond stood tall after throwing Superboy at us, as he roars and charged forwards. In response, we surged forwards with a battle cry. Kid Flash speeds directly in front of him, as Desmond attempts to slam into Kid, but he slides under him as Aqualad and Superboy double-fisted the beast's face, making him trip over Kid Flash's hunched-over form.

Kid Flash: Learned that in kindergarten!

I ran forwards, jumping over his legs before landing on the beast's torso, raising my arms high into the air, the purple lining became a powerful electric blue around my forearms before slamming them into the beast, electrocuting him. The monstrosity swipes frantically, trying to get me off him, as he roared in pain. I managed to dodge a few before backflipping off of him, standing ready before him.

Robin then threw his birdarangs at the beast, but he knocked them away. As he tried to get up, he spotted Superboy charging at him. In response, Blockbuster grabbed the alien clone and rammed him into a piller. Superboy kept trying to punch him, instead, Blockbuster punched Superboy further into the piller, stunning the clone. I surged forwards, punching a specific point in his shoulder, amplified by electricity. It didn't seem to do much damage, but it did get his attention.

He tried grabbing me, only for me to slide under the grey tree trunks that were Blockbuster's arms. The beast raised his foot to stomp on me, but I managed to roll out the way, before jumping up, uppercutting the monster. Originally, it wouldn't have done much, but the blow was reinforced by the stored-up kinetic energy within the suit, blowing the beast back, and through a piller.

He scrambled to his feet before Kid Flash rushed in. He tried punching Blockbuster, but the grey monstrosity grabbed his arm. I moved to help, but the beast threw Kid Flash at me, and our bodies hit the ground with a thud! Blockbuster gripped me by my helmet as he held me up in the air before running forwards, crashing my body through several pillars, shaking the room as its support was being destroyed. I let out a roar in defiance as all the silver lining in my suit turn a deep deep blue, before I let out an explosion of power, nearly 90% of it, blowing the beast back as he dropped me.

I dropped to the ground, panting as the lining in my suit returned to its usual silver color. I struggled to get to my knees, spotting Robin, with his holo-screen up, telling Kid Flash something.

???: (They better have a fucking plan...)

I struggle to my feet and trudge over to the pair, kneeling beside Robin.

???: What's the plan?

He nodded before he explained the plan. This better work...

Robin: Got it?

I nod at him before running to a couple of pillars, using my energy daggers, throwing them at the pillars as they explode into bits. Robin then drew a giant white X on the floor for Blockbuster to be lured onto. Aqualad put water on the floor as Kid Flash slid on the water, luring Blockbuster. And Blockbuster fell for it, as Superboy punched him in his face, knocking him on his back on the wet floor. Aqualad activated his Atlantean tattoo, sending currents of electricity through the water, electrifying the behemoth.

???: Get ready!

Robin presses the trigger as everyone centers on me. We all get down, and repaired for the buildings to collapse. As the building collapsed, I used the remaining kinetic energy stored in my suit to blow away a good amount of the debris. When the rubble settled, I got up, pushing a boulder off my back as it hit the ground. I took most of the damage, as I was the only one with a protective suit. Everyone else soon to up, pushing the remaining rubble off of them. We took in our surroundings, noting the rubble, before looking up at the start night sky.
