George was laying in Dream's lap gazing into Dream's eyes as he played with George's hair. He didn't have the words to explain how he felt. Dream was just so perfect. They had spent the past few days together. George broke the news to Sapnap and he was so happy for them.

"Do you know how beautiful your eyes are?" Dream said.

"Me?" George responded and Dream nodded. "That's ironic, I've always loved your eyes. The entire time you've been here I've noticed your eyes." George yawned.

"We've been sitting here all day, we need to do something before you pass out." Dream said.

"Aww but I don't want to get up." George replied, fiddling with his green hoodie strings.

Dream got up and left George laying on the couch. He walked over to the kitchen and looked around. George rolled over on his side and watched him aimlessly look around. Dream found his spot and put his hands on his hips. "Let's cook something!" He said.

George reluctantly got up and walked over to Dream. He leaned onto the counter top. "Like what?"

"I don't know," Dream looked up, thinking. "Waffles?"

George smiled. "Waffles it is."

The kitchen was a mess. Flour and other ingredients were found everywhere, including George and Dream's hands. They had just put the waffles in the waffle iron. Dream grabbed George's hand and pulled him out to the back patio.

"The waffles are going to burn." George said, drawing out the "n".

"They will be fine." Dream replied as he slid the door closed.

It was warmer than normal, but it was still cool. This typically happens a few weeks before it snows. The sky was speckled with clouds that were barely visible in the black sky. It felt nice.

George turned to face Dream and Dream was already looking into his eyes. He looked George up and down.

"Green is your color." Dream said.

George looked down at Dream's hoodie he was wearing. "It looks yellow to me."

"Oh yeah," Dream remembered, "well just know it's green. And I hope that when I can't be there, it brings you happiness."

George smiled. God I'm in love. He thought.

Dream reached into his pocket and pulled out his phone. He typed something and looked up at George. That one look of love made George melt.

"George?" Dream said.

"Yes Clay?" George said tauntingly.

"Will you dance with me?"

George smiled. He felt like a kid. "Of course."

Dream pressed something on his phone and set it down. A song started playing. It sounded familiar to George. Dream walked up to George and wrapped his arms around his waist and George wrapped his around Dream's neck. The two stared into each other's eyes as the song played and they swayed to the beat.

I don't say a word

But still you take my breath

and steal the things I know

There you go

Saving me

From out of the cold

The two inched closer together. They could feel each other's breath. The moment felt so beautiful and sincere. One thing was present: love.

"What's this song called?" George asked.

"Fire on Fire." Dream replied.

"I like it." George smiled.

Fire on fire, would normally kill us

With this much desire, together, we're winners

They say that we're out of control and some say we're sinners

But don't let them ruin our beautiful rhythms

George stared into Dream's eyes. They were as beautiful as ever. The stars reflected into the green abyss in Dream's eyes. He promised he wouldn't leave, and he's holding up the promise. George thought. The song started to slow.

You are perfection, my only direction

It's fire on fire

Dream spun George around and he landed back into his arms. There was a pause. The music had stopped. They weren't swaying. Dream's expression slightly changed.

"You see," Dream started, "I want to do something, but I don't want to be stupid and-"

Dream was cut off by George putting his hand on Dream's cheek. He smiled. Then, George relaxed and leaned in. The two shared a sweet kiss.

"Dream?" George said.

"Yes George?" Dream replied.

"I love you."

"I love you too."

Then the smoke alarm went off. The waffles had indeed burned. Sapnap ran out of the guest bedroom.

"What the fuck?!" Sapnap yelled. George and Dream giggled.
