Steps
1. Find your audience
2. Tell everyone to pick a number, but not to tell you what it is.
3.Tell everyone to multiply their numbers by 2. (This is where you might need to pass out paper.)
4. After everyone has finished, tell them to add 6 to their products.
5. When they're done, have them divide the sum by 2.
6. Have them subtract the original number from the quotient.
7. Ask them if their answer is 3. ( If they say no, they made a mistake somewhere.
8. Be awesome.
Note: you can use any number and the answer will still be 3.
