17. BUT I CAN'T

'' Don't lose yourself trying to help someone else find themselves ''

JIMIN 'S POV

The day is finally here . The day of my marriage , again . I felt my fingers shaking , I didn't know why . maybe because I'm sacred , scared that even this marriage with y/n won't work out properly like the previous one and if y/n leaves me for another guy too , I wouldn't mind . this marriage was only for ruyi and I don't care about y/n's personal life . she can do whatever she wants . unless she is stood with ruyi , I'm too fine with anything . even if y/n wants to date someone else . I let out a frustrated sigh and started wearing my tie standing in front of the mirror . I kept on trying to wear it but all my attempts failed

'' ugh ! how do we do it !? '' I growled with frustration .

'' woow ! the biggest CEO in South Korea doesn't know how to wear a tie !? what a shame !''I turned around to see my mother sarcastically mocking me . without any further do she strolled towards me and started to tie my tie . she had satisfied look on her face once she was done . I saw myself in the mirror . I wouldn't lie , I looked handsome . my black tuxedo and fine my set hair completed my look .

'' ahh no one can beat my son's handsomeness . y/n is one lucky girl I must say '' my mom jeered and let out a chuckle

'' she sure is '' I replied and fixed my tie one last time .when I was about to head out my mother spoke something

'' jimin ahh , y/n is a beautiful girl with good heart , please treat her well .'' my mom said with a small smile . great now my own mother thinks I cannot cope up with my marriage . I know y/n and I are not in our best forms right now but I wouldn't do anything to hurt her . I need y/n in my life to be with ruyi and i will do anything to make that happen . I gave her a nod and headed out .

I was in the church now , all my friends came and greeted me and I put up a fake smile trying to be a little generous . my eyes landed on a ruyi's tiny figure approaching me . she was wearing a white frock and she wore a head band full of white roses . she looked adorable . she sauntered towards me in full speed . yelling my name . I scooped her in my arms with a bright smile

'' hey ruyi ! how is appa looking today ? '' I asked her

'' handsome and always '' she replied with a big smile and pecked my cheek . I let out a chuckle at her cuteness . I wish ruyi could be happy always just like now.

'' appa , where is y/n aunty ? '' ruyi asked pouting . my eyes wandered around the hall but I could find her .

'' umm y/n must be getting ready , she is the bride to be after all '' I said shrugging .

'' don't blame y/n aunty . girls take a lot of time to get ready ! '' ruyi said with a cute frown

'' sorry miss ruyi , my apologize '' I said bowing and ruyi started giggling at my silly behavior . I started ticking her making her laugh even louder . suddenly the hall went silent and ruyi's laughs slowed down . my eyebrows frowned and I turned around . my body froze and I let ruyi down on the floor .

It was y/n , not in her wedding gown but with irene

y/n stared at me furiously , Her eyes looked red as if she was crying for hours . she was hurt . I looked at irene , she had a devilish grin in her face .

I immediately marched towards y/n and grabbed her arm .

'' y/n , what is she doing here '' I whispered to y/n . she forcefully got out of my hold and looked at me furiously .

'' Mr Park Jimin , I will not marry you ''

I felt a sting in my heart . everyone around us gasped in shock and started whispering among then . I let go of her arm slowly and stared at her with hurt
