Ashwin wake up to his alarm and as he dozed off the alarm sound his eyes voluntarily went to the other side of his bed which was now vacant.
"Ava enna vittittu poita" It was the first thought that came to him as he woke up. She was gone. His eyes welled up to the thought of her non-existence.
(She left me alone)
And, soon, their bedroom, the house amidst the city corner it sat, and the tiny garden outside with the roses, orchids and the half grown mango tree they had planted together, soon all those would be gone as well. It was the strangest feeling ever.
He walked up to the kitchen and saw their favourite fridge magnets that they had collected as souvenirs from the places they had visited. It reminded him of the best moments he had with her. The kitchen still had her presence. He was reminded of how she used to wake him up every day morning with a hot bed coffee before going to the duty.
He was internally slapping him to leave his 8 months pregnant wife just for the sake of his responsibility towards his fellow citizens being the DGP of the city. His hands still shivers at the sight of carrying his wife all soaked in blood to the hospital just to be informed to him that they couldn't save their lives.
"Ellam en thappu. I will not leave that b******" involuntarily tears were flowing from his eyes when the director said 'CUT'
(It's all my fault)
"Good shot ashwin. Kalakkitinge" the director patted his back for the one shot that he had just delivered so easily making the whole set in utter silence and tears.
"Thankyou sir! thankyou so much" he kept his right hand flat on his chest as a gratitude and went to his caravan to get ready and get back to his home as the shooting was done for the day.
He left to his home in jet speed as he know that someone was eagerly waiting for his arrival as it was a special day for them. He was welcomed by a 5"2 cute wife all dressed up in a electric blue saree stunning but her face was fuming in anger. He swallowed seeing his wife's rowdy look. It was their second wedding anniversary and he had promised her to get back to home by the evening but his plan went in vein as he had to shoot till night.
"Huh" sivaangi stomped into the hall placing her free flowing pallu to her shoulders and sat on the couch with a thud.
Ashwin slowly closed the door and sat near her holding her chin "kochukkathey chellom"
(Don't get annoyed)
She titled her head dropping his hands from his hold "ponga ponga nan ellam ungalkkaga ivlo dress up panni wait pannitirukken ana ungallku en arumai puriyala"
(I have been waiting for you all dressed up but it all went in vein)
Ashwin was about to hold her shoulder to convince her but the same time sivaangi stood up letting ashwin lose his balance and fall on the couch.
She turned to see her husband lying with his stomach in a funny position. The scene was hilarious and she couldn't let a loud chuckle.
"Hahaaaaaa. Ayyo sirichu vayar valikuthey" she was continually laughing holding her stomach.
(Look at you. I can't stop laughing)
"Iru di unakku siruppu varutha?" he ran towards her but being a kedi made a move before him and when ashwin thought he almost caught her he slipped off and again fell on the floor.
