ARIS POINT OF VIEW
I saw him near his car; he looked so dashing in his 3/4 sleeves. He gave me a reserved smile when he saw me. Something in my heart felt like it was going to explode when I saw him smile.
Pinagbuksan niya ako ng pinto at pinapasok sa kanyang sasakyan. He's really rich; I wonder if his family forced him into engineering. Or he just wants to let them see what he's capable of, even if he can't. To show off? I don't think so.
Nakita ko ang DSLR niya sa harapan ko. Dala-dala niya pala ito kahit saan.
Indeed there is beauty in every picture.
Hindi nagtagal ay nakarating kami sa bahay nila. He parked his car outside their house. Maraming sasakyan din ang naka parking dito sa labas. Tumibok tuloy ng mabilis ang puso ko. Kinakabahan ako sa hindi ko malamang dahilan.
I am not really good at socializing with other people, and by looking from here, I know that there are plenty of people inside.
"Are you okay?" He asked. There's a worry emotion written on his face.
I slightly nod, and try to compose myself.
I felt my heart start to get heavy, so I stopped and closed my eyes. Not this time, please; I can't. It might ruin their party.
"Tara na," sabi ko sa kanya at ngumiti.
Yet I know that my smile didn't reach my eyes. Tumango si Colin at hinawakan ang kamay ko 'tsaka ako kami sabay na pumasok sa loob.

Calm yourself, Aris. He just hold your hand, nothing more, nothing less. Stop thinking about romantic stuff. You are not in a novel. He's not some kind of fictional character that will fall in love to a woman he just accidentally met.
Tuluyan na kaming nakapasok, at ang daming tao, bigla tuloy akong nailang. I am not used of crowds my self-esteem is too low when it comes to this.
"Hi, Colin!" Someone approached him.
"Hi," bati niya rin sa babae.
Suddenly she looked at me for a second and to our hands intertwine and she went his eyes to him again.
"Uhh, I'll go first. Maybe ate Steph is finding me." She smile without showing any of her teeth, and excuse herself.
Colin just nod. Kinuha ko ang kamay ko sa kanya dahil bigla akong nailang.
"She's my cousin," he murmured.
I am not asking though.
Naghanap siya ng table para sa ‘min, at kailanman ay hindi niya ako iniwan na mag-isa roon. He was with me all the time.
"Baka hinahanap ka na ng mga magulang mo," wika ko.
Hindi siya umimik sa sinabi ko. May lumapit na babae sa'min. I got stunt when I saw how beautiful she is.
She's wearing an eyeglasses and it looks good on her. The woman might be his older sister. Magkahawig silang dalawa. Her face look so bright and friendly. Ibang-iba kay Colin na kasing lamig ng yelo. Isang tingin mo lang kasi sa kapatid niya, makikita mo talaga na ang approachable ng dating nito.
"Nandito ka lang pala brother dear. Mom and Dad is looking for you," sambit niya habang nakatingin sa kapatid niya na kakalingon lang sa kanya.
"Tell them I'm with someone," he says.
'Tsaka niya tinalikurang muli ang kapatid. Did he just turn down his sister? What a jerk.
"Rude, brother. Anyway I like—no I love your gift. Thank you, ma effort ka rin pala." Tsaka niyakap ang kapatid niya.
How I wish I am like this with my younger siblings.
"You must thank her, she helped me a lot." Nanlaki ang mata nang ate niya sa sinabi ng kapatid niya at bumaling ang tingin ng babae sa ‘kin.
"Hi, dear. I told my brother to bring the guest he wants. Maybe it's you? Ganda mo," Nakangiting wika niya. "Thank you for the gift and for helping him. I am Stephanie Tongco. You can call me ate Steph!" She handed me her hand. Nilahad ko rin ang kamay ko at nagpakilala.
"Damaris Fiore Lopez po. Aris will do." I introduced myself.
"Your name sounds so lovely. Thank you again, and you too look good together." Nakita ko ang pagsingkit ng mga mata ni Colin at natawa nalang ang kapatid niya. Iniwan niya kami doon.
I saw how Colin was suppressing himself to smile from what her sister just uttered. His silence is almost an agreement.
Is she shipping me with her brother? Then, if she is, she really made my heart beat faster. My cheeks even warmed, and I felt a flutter in my chest.
Why do I need to feel this?
It's my first time feeling this way.
