...„I don't care if this night is gonna be crazy, everyone in there is already so drunk, no one's gonna remember anything tomorrow", she yelled in her ear.
"Then hand over the vodka", Elaine said and took a few sips right out of the bottle.
"You're disgusting", Kaya laughed.
"I'm not planning on sharing this", Elaine smirked and they both walked in.
Right after she stepped in, the smell of a typical party came towards her. Sweat and alcohol, mixed to a disgusting smell, which Elaine knew she would get used to after 2 minutes.
Also the music was so loud, it always bothered her that they had to turn the volume so high that she always had headaches after.
"Have you already seen Jenna?", she asked her friend and she nodded.
"Yeah, right after I arrived", she answered and Elaine turned her head, searching for her.
"I'm gonna say hello to a few people", Kaya said. "I'm back in 5 minutes I swear", she promised her and Elaine declined.
"Don't stress, I'll look around a bit",she said.
As soon as Kaya disappeared behind a group of teens, Elaine walked trough the crowd, trying to check if she knew someone.
"Elaine, is that you?" a male voice asked behind her and she turned around, hoping he wasn't who she thought he was.
Well, he wasn't included in the list of people she searched for.
Ethan stood in front of her, in one hand holding a paper cup with some liquid in it,the other hand laid on her shoulder, and made her want to shake his hand off immediately.
He and her had been together for 3 months, before she broke up with him because this idiot couldn't take a no. Some people would call him her ex, but the only thing she associated him with was trying to get him off her mind.
Even tho their break up was almost a year ago, were there still people who missed a chapter and asked her how it was going with him, or how long they have been together now, and everytime she said, that they broke up in an amicable way, with private reasons.
These private reasons happened on a party like this, none of Jennas, but this still was like the worst timing she could have met him again.
"Haven't seen you in ages", she said emotionless, which gave away her unhappiness to see him again.
It seemed like either he ignored it or didn't wanted to notice how uncomfortable she felt.
"I thought a lot about you after our break up", he said.
Oh no. This was going the wrong direction. So wrong that she just turned around and walked away, hiding behind a group of three people playing a drinking game, just to have a reason to get drunk.
Before she could think about the fact that she just walked away without saying a word, Kaya got in her focus.
"Seen someone you know?", she asked and Elaine nodded slowly.
"Yeah, I saw Ethan again", she said and Kayas eyes widened immediately. She had told her as the first person what he did, and she insisted on her breaking up with him, which she thanked her for now.
"He asked me how I've been and that he thought about me a lot, and I literally just walked away", she cringed by just speaking out these words.
"You walked away?", Kaya laughed out and held her hand over her mouth in shock.
