Scott and my boss walked over to me. Scott extended his hand to Kirstin, which she gladly shook and clearly loved the feeling of his touch, then he extended his hand to me. I shook it because my boss was right next to him, but Scott wouldn't take his eyes off me and it made me uncomfortable.

"Mitch, Kirstin. This is Scott. He's new today and you'll have to fill him in for me. I'm of course on pregnancy leave right now so I hope you two will do great." She smiled at us, smiled at Scott and patted his shoulder, then left.

"Hi Scott. I can show you around." Kirstin told him. He shook his head with a smile on his face while she grabbed his arm and showed him around the shop.

Meanwhile, I got to work. I kept thinking about how much I just wanted to be home with Gerard. I missed him...

"Kirstin, I'm going home!" I yelled to her as I flipped the open sign to close on the shop door.

I saw Kirstin running to me, "Mitch, come with us. Scott and I agreed to go out clubbing tonight." I thought about my options here: Go out clubbing with my best friend and her new crush, or go home and get fucked by my boyfriend. Mmmm.

"I'm tired. I think I'm gonna go home and sleep." Kirstin frowned at me. I could tell she was disappointed.

"Don't go home to him, Mitch." She was holding onto both of my hands as tears lined her eyes. I felt nothing.

"I'm tired Kirst. I'll see you tomorrow." I left her as she cried, and went home to Daddy.
