Violet's POV

"No sister for me." I muttered to myself, "Why is my file Stephanie Grace Banner? My name is Violet. I remember them calling me Violet even during...," I struggled to get the word out, "Experimenting."

"That may be true. We don't know much about that time of your life. The only people that would know are you, and everyone in the lab at that time. Unfortunately, there weren't many that we caught, but the ones who were caught slowly died off in jail. We think they were being watched, and once they were caught, the people giving them orders killed them. We've dealed with this kind of technology before, so it was the most possible assumption. But the name your parents gave you was Stephanie Grace Banner."

"My parents. Where are they?"

"I'm afraid both have passed."

"How?"

"Both of them died in a SHIELD containment facility. They both were working for Hydra."

My eyes went wide, but only for a second, as I went back to hiding my emotion.

"I know this may come as a surprise to you, but there's really come more files you should read."

Fury wrote down several different files, and handed me the paper.

"I hope this doesn't altar your current opinion about SHIELD, Agent Banner."

"Violet. It's Agent Violet," I then turned to walk out the door.

Back to the file room I go. I looked at the list of files, there was.

I started looking for my real file. Stephanie, that's my real name. I don't feel like a Stephanie. If you can even feel like a Stephanie. The name sounds like someone else, as if I'm not even talking about myself. Weird.

I found my file without dificulty this time.

Name: Stephanie Grace Banner (Deceased)

Aged: 1

Date of Birth: May 4, 1994

Cause of Death: Unidentified

I guess that's really all a 1 year old can have a file for them. I skipped over all the relatives, because by now I practically had that list memorized.

Now time for Stephanie Banner's file. It almost made me sick that they would flee to Hydra. Did I just say that? Or think that, none the least? I'm turning into such a SHIELD Agent, I've always been disgusted at the kind of person that I'm turning into.

But that's a subject for another time, because I found the file.
