Chapter 8- SHIELD Agent

BTW, there's a character that I really like, and they died, but in this book, they're still alive.

Violet's POV

"So what now," I asked, after I signed the agreement. I'm officially a SHIELD agent, technically. I still need a new idenity. Since, 'Stephanie' no longer exists, and evidently 'Violet' never existed. Once SHIELD does it's thing, I'll be Violet Banner. I would've just done Violet, but noooo, I have to have a last name. It's a rule or something, I don't know. But back to the conversation.

"You start training again, and you'll also work in the labs-"

"But-"

"Stark reported to me, you helped their work. In fact you sped the process up, by more than we could have imagined. You'll be a field agent as well as working in the labs."

"So, am I free to do whatever now?"

"Actually, we're bringing in everyone, for a meeting. We'll be discussing your role at SHIELD, for now you will not be considered an Avenger-"

"Didn't think I would be."

"But, we would like to use your gifts for world crises. Of course, you won't be going to the SHIELD Academy, so you'll have other agents teaching you how SHIELD works. You'll still be a level 3 agent for the time being."

"Is that all?"

"Yes. You may be dismissed, you'll be alarmed when you have to report back."

I turned to leave, but then I remember one thing, "Does this mean I get the dog tag bracelet off?"

"Don't push it," he said, looking at some paper work.

"Yes, sir," I said quickly, then left.

At that point I started walking to the lab. It's a nerd's paradise, other than, you know, Comic Con. On the way there I ran into someone I saw the other day.

"Oh, hey. You're the new person right? I was the newbie once," Skye.. I think, said to me.

"Umm... yea. You're Skye, right?"

"Yea. I see you get the guard bracelet thing too."

"And I'm still trying to figure out how to get the thing off."

She smirked, "Good luck."

"You know how to get it off don't you?"

"Maybe... I'd tell, but being a prisoner here isn't so fun. I know you can relate."

"Definitely, so I'm guessing I'll see you around."

"Actually I'm flying out tomorrow with my team. But I'll see you sometime. Bye."

"Bye."

Wonder who her team is... maybe I can find out my way someday. After a walk, a long walk, which I finally didn't get lost on, I entered the lab.

"Oh, you're back," Tony greeted me.

"You seem thrilled by that," I said sarcastically, "I thought you were checking out the energy waves, where ever they were."

"Done," he said, facing the work he was working on.

I gave Banner a questioning look. I mean, I was gone like an hour, and he's already back.

"His suit goes really fast," Bruce shrugged.

"Okay... So what'd you find?"

"An underground volcano erupting," Tony pouted.
