Chapter 2- SHIELD

Violet's POV

I ran, and ran, and ran, with what little energy I had left. Until I was shot with something again. And this time I blacked out. No, I didn't die, if you were wondering.

I woke up later, and looked around, I was in a white room, and I mean completely white. There was a door, a bed, and a set of clothes. I looked at myself, realizing I was still was in my Hello Kitty Pajamas, well, that's awkward.

"Agent Violet," a tall man with an eye patch says, quite loudly.

"Geez, you don't have to shout," I say, covering my ear.

"You weren't responding."

"Oh... Wait, who are you?"

"Director Fury of SHIELD."

"And why am I at SHIELD?"

"Full of questions today aren't we?"

"Just answer me."

"Follow me," He says, walking out of the room, "Guards, don't let her get away."

"Where are we going?"

"Interogation room," Fury says, still walking.

"And why?"

"We'll ask the questions here."

We finally got to the interogation room, they led me to a chair, and locked my hands to the chair once I sat.

"Violet, I'm Phil Coulson-"

"From the jet. I remember."

"I see. I know you probably have a lot of questions," as he talks, I wiggle the chains, making a loud noise, "We will try to answer your- Oh, for pete's sake, someone take the shackles off."

SHIELD guards come take my shackles off.

"As you were saying," I say, telling him to continue.

"We will try to answer your questions. So if you have any questions, ask them now."

"Why am I here?"

"We rescued you."

"Why? I was perfectly fine with Hydra."

"Listen, we're the good guys."

"Says the people who tested on me for 14 years."

"We did not know of this."

"How could you not know? It was right under your noises."

"We were told you were dead, it was not until last year we knew you were alive."

"Wait, hold up, who told I was dead?"

"The doctor, the person who tested on you, said he found you dead. You were a year old, he captured you, told us you were dead. We believed him. It has been confirmed for the past 20 years you were dead."

"So according to the government, I'm dead?"

"Correct."

"Well, can I come back to life?"

"If you were to 'come back to life' many people would be looking for you."

"And why would that be?"

"Your mother was a SHIELD agent, a very high one at that, one of the smartest in her class. After you were born, she went missing. And still has yet to be found."

Someone has told me something about my past. My life of who I am. But I keep a straight face, I can't let the enemy see my emotions. In my work people with normal lives have to turn them self into an emotionless robot.
