After the Mckinnon death, James and Eloise were told not to fight anymore, Lily wasn't in any shape to do so.

It was a miracle that Regulus Black returned from the cave, let alone destroying all 7 horcruxes.

Voldemort was weak, he had no power anymore.

Eloise was 9 months into her pregnancy and was getting more impatient by the day.

She felt bored sat around all day, and the amount of times she went to write to Marlene and then realised she wasn't there anymore was impeccable.

She visited Lily in hospital, who wasn't holding up well at all. She felt guilty knowing it could've been her the died and not Marlene.

It pained the blonde girl to see her best friend like this, thinking she could've done something to save her.

Peter was found guilty for his hideous crimes and was sent to Azkaban for life. Surprisingly Eloise felt as if she could've saved him, she could've stopped him from going to that side.

But she had to realise he made that choice, no one else.

Her and James sat quietly when she got a weird sharp pain on her stomach.

She didn't think anything of it, thinking it was a cramp or something silly so didn't say anything.

But then it happened again.

And again 5 minutes later.

Which is when she told James, and in classic Potter style he freaked out, and then rang Sirius.

They immediately went to St Mungos where they planned to have the baby.

A/N I ain't writing an awkward birth scene, you can have the aftermath xoxo

A baby was born on the 31st July 1980, a baby named Harry James Potter.

He lit up the room as soon as he was born, i'm proving he was going to a special child from birth.

Sirius was first to hold him, he claimed it was godfather duties. Then Eloise, then James, then his godmother, Lily.

Harry gave Lily purpose to go on, even if it wasn't her child.

That night the small family slept at the hospital but was awoken by a Phoenix patronus.

"Voldemort is defeated. Regulus Black is free. The death eaters are in azkaban. You are free to live peacefully."

The 31st of July was a day or miracles. But the war was unforgettable.
