𝘈𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘳" Honestly, why couldn't y'all leave me at the motel." I groan, placing one of my hands on my knees out of breath while the other one is in Stefan's hand. Stefan woke me up at eight this morning, saying we had to find Ray's pack. So for the last two hours, we have been hiking up this damn mountain, and I'm sweating like crazy. Even though Stefan is leading me, I have tripped over these damn rocks at least four times.
Great help he is.
" You've been complaining about your summer being boring, so I thought a little nature hike would be interesting." Klaus explains.
"The thing that makes nature hikes interesting, is being able to see the scenery!" I yell.
"Oops." He says, and I swear I can hear the smirk on his stupid hybrid face. " You okay? Ray getting heavy?" Klaus taunts Stefan, who apparently has to carry Ray while helping me.
" I'm fine." Stefan answers, annoyed.
" You sure about that? You know, we've been walking for quite some time now. I'm sure you and Carter need some water or a little sit-down..." Klaus trails off.
" You didn't even bring any damn water!" I snap, tripping over a tree branch slightly.
"You know, I get that we're, uh...we're stuck together, but if we could maybe just skip the chitchat, it'd be great." Stefan grumbles.
" So much brooding," Klaus replies. "Your self-loathing is suffocating you, my friend."
"He's not your friend." I snap.
"Maybe it's 'cause I'm a little tired of hunting werewolves. We've been at it all summer, and Carter looks like she's about to have a heat stroke."
I really am. It's hot ass shit out here.
" Well, Thanks to our pal Ray, we found ourselves a pack." Klaus replies. "There."
I hear a group of people talking when suddenly I hear a thud hitting the ground and people gasping. Assuming Stefan just dropped Ray on the ground.
