"The water is so beautiful." I say dreamily as I lean against the railing looking at the crystal blue lake in front of me, mesmerized by how beautiful Italy is.
After I left Shane's office, Nik called and said he would pick me up, and we would get something to eat. Did I know he meant eating a four-course meal on an expensive ass plane? Hell no! I was shocked but not more shocked than he was when I walked out of the frat house still in my costume, which he ripped apart on the plane after dinner. He explained to me while we cuddled that the location of the hunter's sword was here. Since we didn't get to go on a vacation like planned, he decided to bring me along so this could be our short vacation.
I happily agreed and haven't stopped smiling since we landed.
"It is a beautiful view, love." Nik agrees, and I turn around to see him smiling at me, causing me to blush. He comes closer, kissing my reddened cheeks before wrapping his arms around my waist.
"I wish we could stay longer." I sigh. We made it here because this is the closest location to where the hunter's sword is buried, and we need the damn sword to get us closer to the cure.
"We can always come back, my love," Nik says, turning me around so I'm facing him. "We can go to more beautiful places, just the two of us." I smile at him as I bring his head down, crashing our lips together. A sweet kiss instantly turns into a heated one as I feel his hands pulling the straps of my dress down as I unbutton his shirt. Once I have his shirt off, he bends down and throws me over his shoulder, making me laugh. He carries me back into the room and tosses me on the bed, climbing over it before pausing and throwing a blanket over me as someone knocks on the door.
