Savi

To say that my morning wake up call was the worst day ever was an understatement. To say that I dread Friday is an understatement. To say that I want to kick my sisters in the throat is, yep you guessed it, an understatement.

"I'm sure that it will come out soon. If you cut it all off," Bev giggled.

What my step-sister was talking about was my hair. And how she 'accidentally' stuck gum in it.

I probably spent half an hour trying to get all of the bits out before I decided to cut it. She stuck the gum around the nape of my neck while I was asleep, so my long blonde- almost brown looking hair turned into a choppy-like bob. It didn't look as bad as I thought it did. In fact, it looked really good, and the best part, I looked nothing like my sister. I had a crazy thought, a thought I had when I was seven and obsessed with this Barbie movie. There were these two girls and they looked exactly alike. One was wearing a beautiful pink dress and the other was wearing a blue. I searched the cabinets in the bathroom for what I was looking for, and I found it.

After I was done, I took one last look in the mirror. I hard their snickers outside come to a stop as soon as I walked out with pride and headed to my room.

"It actually looks really cute," I heard Chloe say.

"Shut up!"

Ari

I gaped as I saw my sister walk out of the bathroom. Bev had the camera on her iPhone ready to take a couple pics of her cherry flavored hair. Instead, she walks out, with her chin held high, pushing her violet hair from her eyes and into her.

"What?" Chloe asked. "Bev, you have to admit, it looks at bit cool."

After about a minute of their pointless argument, I shut them up as we took our turns showering and we all brushed our teeth together.

I was surprised that she actually cut her hair. She loved her hair so much as as child and brushed it with anything. Including forks. However, I wasn't surprised that she dyed it purple. She had this sort of addiction to some Barbie movies because the two main characters looked alike and we were the only twins in our town and we felt special. We still are the only twins and we were like unicorns to the place. I also wasn't surprised that Bev would pull a prank like that. She always jealous of how long our hair was, against her split ends.

"Did you have you stick gum in her hair?" I said in between spits.

"She deserved what she got. She hooked up with your boyfriend."

I shrugged. "I did't really care all that much about Liam anyway. I'm fine."

"I can tell. You look like you haven't showered," she said, looking at me up and down as if she was examining me.

"Why does everyone keep saying that?" I said, letting the minty foam fall down my chin.

"You're wearing flannels. You look like those soft grunge girls on Tumblr."

"So?"

Bev seemed to be very frustrated with me. What was her problem all the time?

"Bev, just mind your business," Chloe spoke.

Bev glared at her then walked out of the bathroom.

"You forgot to brush your tongue," I hollered as Chloe shot me a small smile.

A lot of people were staring at me as I walked into the school. I couldn't tell if it was because of the Liam thing, or my hair. Some girls touched the tip of it, and some took photos. I made a detour to my locker to take out my books where I was greeted, by Liam.

"Nice hair," he said looking very stunned.

"It was time for a change," I mumbled, unlocking my locker.

He lingered around my locker, still. "Need something?" I said flatly.

He opened his mouth and quickly shut it as Gwen walked by. "Hey Sav. Cute haircut," she said feeling the chopped up tips.

"Thanks."

Liam muttered a goodbye the left.

"What was that about?" she said nudging me.

"Must have the wrong twin," I joked.

"Not with that haircut," she scoffed. "Now it's a lot easier to tell you two apart. Anyway, I was talking to Sam last night, and we came up with a plan to destroy your sisters."

"What is it?"

"What is the one thing your sisters hate? Besides you."

I ignored her dig and the rhetorical question. "What?"

"Food."

I stared at her blankly, waiting for her to elaborate. "That's it?"

"Oh no, we're planing a food fight. And you're gonna start it."

"You make me laugh."
