Flora's POV
We walked into Puffy's house and immediately there was an incredibly strong scent of cinnamon. It was almost too strong, I gagged at it slightly. "You ok?" Eret asked. I nodded, "How much cinnamon do you guys have to have in this house, it's never usually this strong!" I said overwhelmed by the scent. "I mean Puffy made cinnamon pancake- ah, you're a fox. Stronger sense of smell that's right." They said.
I nodded so Eret went over and turned the fans up while also opening some windows. "Sorry about that, anyways, Dream and Foolish are hanging in their rooms, and Puffy is in the living room." Eret said. I nodded and went up to Dreams room. I knocked hearing a 'come in' said by none other than Dream himself. I'd say Dream and I were close friends. I opened the door walking in. "Oh, hey Flora!" He said smiling. I somewhat smiled back before sitting on the other side of his bed.
"What're you doing here?" Dream asked a little confused why I was over so early. "Oh, just figured we could hang out a little, I wanna talk to your brother about something in a few minutes so figured we could chill I guess?" I answered in a bit of a rush. I stared at me for a second before saying, "Yeah sure, wanna play Minecraft? I was gonna try bedrock today if you wanna join." I smiled at this invite and nodded.
We were playing for a solid 20 minutes now when Dream figured out you could front bridge. "Woah Flora look at this! This is literally cheating!" He wheezed slightly. I giggled softly and sighed. "Something wrong?" he asked putting the controller down. "Oh, I'm fine, but I think I'll be back in a bit. I'm gonna go find Eret." I said with a soft smile. Dream waved saying, "Ok, I'll see you later then" and continued playing.
I exited his room closing the door and took a few deep breaths. And with that, I went off to Erets room. I knocked on the door and it opened. "Oh, hey, did you need something?" Eret asked letting me in. I stood in his room and nodded. "Well, make yourself comfortable, I was just going through my skirts" She said. I sat on a beanbag he had and they sat on the floor. "So what had you all panicky this morning?" he asked.
"Eret, Eret I really don't wanna be a girl anymore it feels so wrong and I just hate my body so much" I said all in one sentence really fast. I just really needed to tell someone. Eret smiled, "That was really brave of you to come out to me so easily, trust me I know it's a hard thing to do" They said coming over and putting a hand on my shoulder. I looked up and slowly started to smile before hugging him.(Not a ship weirdos) He laughed, "What pronouns do you prefer, and have you thought of a name yet?" He said calmly.
I grinned, "He/him please, and I like the name Fundy". I said happily. "Alright well, Fundy, you wanna know something about one of your uncles?" I looked at her confused as to of why they mentioned this. "Uh sure," I started, "Techno or Tommy?" I asked. "Your Uncle Tommy, not a lot of people know this but.." I broke the hug and looked up at him. "But what? He can't have that many secrets" I said.
"Tommy is trans too Fundy"(NOT CANON JUST THIS AU) upon hearing them say this my mouth dropped. "Genuinely is he?" I asked. He nodded. I silently squealed. "I wish to tell my parents now" I said feeling ok with things now. I really don't know why I was so worried about this stuff, I know everyone here is really accepting but it's just fear of thinking, 'maybe I'm faking it and they'll be mad' you know?
"If you're sure you're comfortable with it I'll bring you back to your place." He said. I nodded confidently. Eret took me back to my place and I entered waving bye to her. I took a deep breath and found my parents on the couch watching TV. Once they saw me they smiled and my dad said hello to me. "Hey mom, dad, can we talk?" I asked. I was about to tell them, no going back now.
