Cry
It had been about a week, and Marzia was looking at me, completely bewildered at my random mention of Felix.
"Is he threatening you?" she questioned, eyebrows raised.
I held back a slight laugh. "Nah, I just persuaded him to hang out with me over the weekends because that dumb saying, 'Keep your friends close, and your enemies closer' turns out to be true. Also, I happen to be pansexual and he's my only plausible ticket to possibly gaining a relationship with Ken- should he like men," didn't seem like an appropriate response. Instead, I only replied with, "Nah, you guys just look cute together." Marzia only nodded vaguely, laughing underneath her breath.
"Okay then...?" I grinned, before waving and heading off to class.
"What are you doing here, fuck-head?" I immediately sighed, not bothering to acknowledge the unnatural bluenette.
"Cry, over here!" I waved at Ken, my face breaking out into a grin. "S'up?" He grabbed me, hooking his elbow around my neck, and ruffled my hair roughly. "I missed you, man!"
I laughed, ignoring the sudden blush that dusted my cheeks. "Aw, how sweet!" I teased, punching his arm in an attempt to bat away from his grip. Ken only laughed his amazing laugh, finally letting me go but practically forcing me down into a desk besides his.
I glanced around, before asking, "Where are the others?" Ken shrugged. "Marzia's probably with Ian and Anthony, and Toby's....being Toby, somewhere in the world." I laughed, again ignoring the pink creeping up my cheeks. I didn't realize I had fallen for Ken, until that one faithful day he showed up to the hospital.
"Hey, Cry!" My eyes spotted a head of familiar brown hair covered by a newly-bought bear hat.
"Ken? What are you doing here?" Said boy grinned, tossling my hair. "What does it look like? I'm visiting a friend! By the way, have you seen him?" I rolled my eyes, giggling slightly. "Haha, very funny!" I muttered, rolling over to face one of my good friends.
We chatted until visiting hours were over, and Ken was forced to leave. Before he did, though, the brown-eyed male and given me a hug, lips coming in contact with my cheek, before he whispered, "Get better for me, k?" And with that, the nurse pulled him off and pushed him away, leaving me dazed and confused, butterflies floating around my entire body.
"Cry? Hey, Cry! Snap out of it!" Snapping fingers caught my attention as I jolted out of my memories, glancing around awkwardly.
"S-sorry, Ken," I muttered sheepishly, earning a bear hug from the teen. "It's fine, Cry! No need to stress!" [[*sobs* Whhhhyyyy?!]] I smiled, before working on the paper Mr. Reyes handing us for Spanish 2.
The class ended, it seems, as soon as it started. I was soon waving my farewells to Ken, before being shoved into a room. My cobalt blue eyes snapped up to a pair of light blue eyes, staring intently.
"What did Marzia say?!"
Realization hit me and I let out the shaky breath I had unknowingly held, before giving him the brunette's exact words. A sigh escaped his lips, his tan hand combing blonde locks repeatedly. For once, he actually looked something other than angry. Felix seemed worried, remorseful, and just downright depressed.
"Is that a bad thing?" I asked cautiously, to which the blonde only shook his head. "It's a something..."
My mind practically yearned for something to ease this man's pain caused by love. Only one thing popped up: "You should come to the Halloween party Ken's having."
Felix glanced at me, a frown playing his lips. "Huh?" "All of your old friends are gonna be there, and you said we should start hang in out. It's next weekend, you could start planning your apology to them." A weak laugh escaped his lips.
"Why should I apologize?"
I cringed at this man's obvious arrogance, many not-very-understanding words leaping into my mind. "Maybe because you hurt them. Hurt Marzia by accusing her of cheating; hurt Ken by hurting those close to him; hurt Mark by-" "Okay, I get it!" I smirked underneath the mask, tapping my chin knowingly.
"It would be a shame if someone where to find out about that, ya know." He growled, tugging his hair angrily. "I fucking get your damn point!" Clapping my hands, I merely said, "Good! So you're coming!" before walking away, happy by his decision but cringing as the principal dragged me away for being late- why the fuck does he have to wander the halls like that?
[[Guys, okay, so I found only this. WattPad deleted the whole damn thing, even though I spent all fucking night on it! So I added what I remembered, and this is what I got.
Sorry for the long updates and short chapter ^-^" Either way, hoped this satisfied you. I plan on publishing two parts today, but we'll see!
Thank you so much for reading!
See you next time!
