Meanwhile in Dream's room on Nightmare's castle

"I wish father is not dead...I wish he's alive so that we're gonna embrace together since we haven't seen each other for how many years..." Pallete sadly said
"And I'm very sorry...I think it's really my fault,everything is my fault" Pallete added
"Ssshh,please don't blame yourself dear,it's not your fault and I understand, I know u just wanted to follow who kidnapped u because they're so strong than us right?
So it's my fault...I was the one who shot Ink with my arrow so please...it's not your fault...it's mine" Dream said
"But-"
"No buts dear,just sleep for a while" Dream said
"I can't sleep..." Pallete muttered then covered himself with the blanket
"*sigh* what about this,if u sleep then wake up later,I'm sure your father is alive...*I hope...* and that's a promise" Dream said
'I hope I could cheer him up for a while...' Dream thought
"You can't promise that" Pallete grumbled

"But Pallete dear,you need to sleep
We really cared about yo-" Dream said but cut off by Pallete
"Then how come u didn't found me for how many years!?" Pallete asked half yelled
Dream was surprised
"W-well...we couldn't find you...
We tried our best but-"
"You gave up? nice and how pathetic" Pallete muttered
"Pallete...we couldn't find you for how many years doesn't mean we don't love you and cared about you
The good thing now is that you're here now with us-"
"Without father..."
"Pallete,stop cutting off my middle sentence please,who taught you to be bad? Is it 404 or Bill aren't they?"
"Please just leave me alone!" Pallete yelled and looked away from Dream
"Pallete please...past is past now...
And I'll be always here for you from now on,ok?
No one can hurt you anymore and I can promise that" Dream said as he rub his son's skull
"I know you're just trying to cheer me up but it won't work cuz I know what I'm seeing and please...we're in reality not in fantasy
So stop making some damn promises" Pallete muttered then closed his eyes still looking away from Dream

Dream was really sad about this...
When Pallete finally sleeping,he took the chance to give Pallete some good dreams that made him happy

Meanwhile in Ink's room

"Why...just...why..." Nightmare whimpered
Who kneeled down on the floor while holding Ink's hand carefully
"I thought you never had a soul...and I'm really sorry that...I couldn't protect you.."
"I'm sorry...I love you Ink,I really do...and I'm really thankful that I met you since from the start...
I really wish that I could be with you more" Nightmare then started sobbing
"Damn...I'm w-weak..." He whimpered then looked down then laid his face on the fabric of the bed and started crying..
Soaking the bed

Reaper then came back
Ink was watching and listening in the whole time
"What's wrong?" Reaper asked cuz he noticed that Ink has a sad look on his face
"N-nothing...I just missed how it feels to have a soul..." Ink muttered
"Hmm...I can give you artificial one then" Reaper said
"R-really?"
"Mhm...so that you don't need to drink your drugs anymore
The soul was still the same of how you feel after drinking the drugs so...yeah,that's how artificial works"
"My paint of vials aren't drugs!" Ink yelled at him
Reaper chuckled
"Hmm...you can still somehow manage to feel real ones
Anyways! Are you ready?" Reaper asked
"Yes!" Ink exclaimed happily that he can feel Nightmare again or...forever with their child

Ink's POV

After Reaper used his magic to bring me back to life and felt like...I was now alive with artificial feelings
I slowly opened my eyes and I don't feel some pain anymore
I feel free except for Nightmare who was still gripping my hand while crying
I giggled and slowly sat up
"Why....y-you don't deserve t-this..." He sobbed
"Night...it's okay" I said
"No,i-it's not okay..." He muttered still crying
"You don't h-have t-to leave m-me with o-our c-child..." He stuttered
"I won't leave you anymore,I promise" I calmly said
He still don't notice it was me...maybe because busy of crying
"Y-you can't p-promise t-tha-....
Wait..." He trailed then looked up to see me
His eye widened in shock
He also wiped his tears away and rubbing his eye if I was real or not
He stared at me again but for how long...
"Hi..?" I shyly said while waving my hand

He then leaned closer to me and started caressing my cheek
I blushed
Our eyes are both shimmering,he seemed to be surprise tho and jubilant to see me and know that I am alive
"Y-you're real..! You're alive!
B-but how..?" He exclaimed then asked
"Hehe...it's complicated actually.." I muttered
"At first I thought I was just talking to my myself..but...it was you! I'm so glad and happy that you're okay!" He exclaimed again then closed the gap between us
Welp...I just kissed him back,passionately

We then pulled away from the kiss and embraced me
"I thought I'll lost you forever..." He muttered
"Me too...
Btw..how's our child?" I asked then pulled away from the hug
"Doing great of course!" He exclaimed then showed me the small soul
"*giggles* I'm guessing it would be like you,brave and strong" I said
"Well...I'm guessing too that it would be like you, kind...smart....creative...and more!" He exclaimed
"Awww" I awed
"So...do u want to see the others now?" He asked
"Well...sure..." I said,he then nodded and hide the small soul as we stood up and exited the room to see the others.
