The irritating screech of gears pulling together made the girl in the box groan. Pain shot through her small frame as she felt freezing metal below her fingertips. Her weak fingers slipped through the small openings in the strange floor. Strange sounds came from her parched lips, that were cracking at the dryness in the air. Swift movments of panic sent the girls body hurdling forwards, slamming into the cold metal wall. Her blond hair blinded her vision as small strands fell infront of her olive skin. The slight blowing at her tough and matted hair pushed it away as her brown eyes burned at the vision of a dark wall.
The girl pannicked as her breath sped up quickly, sending her heart rate up with amazing speed. Loud sounds of metal scraping metal bounced around in the small, confined space. At the time that the small box the girl was currently sitting in, pannicking until her heart gave out on her, started to spead upwards. She leaped for help, although nobody could hear her urgent cries. Her numb hand hit the cold walls as her calls for help simmered slowly. Air flowed through her lungs once more as she gave up, slumping back down against a wall. Her shoulder blade colided with a wodden box, making the contents inside made small sounds of shifting around. The girl shifted her eyes towards the box, later relising the metal box was filled with survival equipment. Thoughts flowed through her head on what it could be inside the boxes, and why she was excelling towards nowhere it seemed.
Long, staggered breaths left her cold lips as she struggled for reasoning. Memories with blank faces was all she could see, it made her head thump loudly. She groaned, trying to crasp onto the remaining memories, but they all seemed to slip away. Her throat pain caused her not to make anymore loud sounds so she silently wept.
Time slowed down as sharp pain rung through her head, the girl screamed loudly at the sudden pain, shutting her eyes tightly. The vision in her mind went white as she gasped out quickly, before her eyes shot open, as her mind took over her body.
"Shh.." A lady dressed in old clothing whispered to a young girl lying in a bed, covered in pink sheets from head to toe.
"Mommy... Where's daddy?" The young girl cried out softly, her brown eyes looked up into the girls with desperation. The lady sighed deepily, her matching features to the girls hinted they were related.
"He.." The lady started before the door to the bedroom burst open, sshowing a boy with features just like the two already in the room. His eyes darted to his sister as he walked towards her, climbing in next to her. The boy smiled down at the young girl, sympathy flwoing through his brown eyes.
The lady smiled grabbing both their hands weakily, "It doesn't matter.."
The boy's smile seemed to fade slightly, but it remained visable on his flushed face, "Don't worry mum, we will stick together, ain't that right Jessica?" The boy spoke to the girl, an accent printed in his voice, more clear than his mothers.
The little girl wipped her tears and smiled up at her brother, "Of course," Her accent playing in her small words this time, showing another resemplence between her and her brother.
The three people in the room shared smiles, until they faded off into the distance, leaving a blank space remaining.
"Stay Safe..."
The girl gasped as her vision blurred then regained to it's regular state. Her blond hair was pushed out of her face as sweat dripped off her skin. She raised her shaking cold hand up to her head and wipped away the visable sweat.
Jessica..
The girl repeated her name in her head, until she had it imprinted in her head. She wished on keeping this last thing about herself. Everything she had saw stayed in her head, but she was too tired and weak to try to figure out what was going on. A slight groan left her mouth in an ongoing manner, as she pulled her legs up to her chest. Her eyes grew heavily as she closed them slowly, hoping she could wake up from a dream, or some kind of nightmare.
A loud blaring noise that sounded like an alarm awoke the girl with a start. Her heart rate exellerated quickly as the noise rambled on making her head pound loudly once more. She clutched her aching head as pain spread throughout her body.
The metal box stopped with a start that sent the girl sidways as she scratched her cheek against a nail sticking out from a wooden box. Sharp pain overruled the pain in her head, as small ammounts of blood dripped from her aching cheek. Her throat burned from the lack of hydration, making her voice crackle as she once again cried for help.
Gears turned with repeated clicking sounds, as the girl cowered off into a small corner, bringing her knees twards her chest. Sunlight blarred through the small space, making everything inside the box more visable as the top of the box opened. The sun slowed through the small holes in the box, making the girl close her eyes tightly.
Murmers erupted from above, which just seemed to be sunlight. The girl slowly opened her eyes, her brown eyes adjusting to the sounds and sight infront of her. More sounds of metal scraping against eachother made her head hurt as voices came clear into her mind.
"Where is the greenie?" A male voice spoke in a low tone, as he seemed to be speaking to other people. The girl's voice hitched in her throat as voices grew louder, asking questions about something that she couldn't understand, but she relised that it had something to do on how they didn't think she was there.
The murrmering slowly simmered as a loud bang vibrated thr floor beneath her. Someone was walking towards her position in the corner, making her body stop its slight shaking. Shuffling noises was all that was heard in the box, until it reached right infront of her, as she shadow slightly covered her small frame.
The person standing before her shook the boxes right infront of her, making the small box above another shake repeatedly, before dropping onto her foot. The girl yelped for pain as she clutched her throbbing foot close to her. Before she relised it, she knew they had figured out she was there. Gasps erupted as she slowly crawled out out her corner, and hauled herself up to her feet, with the help of the person from just a moment before.
The girls eyes met a pair that looked almost similar to hers, the look on his face was filled with excitment, and confusion. His blond hair was swept off his face, a face that showed features similar to the one that she had saw before. She gasped quietly as she looked around at other boys staring down at them, as she turned her direction back to the boy. Her voice was lost, somewhere where she couldn't find it. The boy smiled simply as her body began to shake in terror and confusuion, as she turned her head to the side in question as she looked at the boy closly.
"Welcome to the glade, name's Newt," His british accent flowed perfectly though his soft words, making the girl's face turn pale and full of confusion and wonder. Newt simply looked up and around at the others standing just before them, then directed his vision back at her, "And you are?"
She stopped for a moment before she sighed deeply, moving on the questioning thoughts from her head. The reason was that she knew she needed to figure out reasoning on what was happening, and why, but she decided on focusing on what was right infront of her. She looked into his brown eyes once more and opened her dry mouth to speak quietly.
"Jessica..."
