The next morning, she felt much better than last night. She called her friend to let her know that she can’t make it. Her stomach began to growl. “Ok. Ok. I’ll eat something.” Ariana said getting out of the room.

She entered the kitchen, and saw Hyosuke making something. She gulped. “Good morning.” Ariana said. “Good morning, Ariana. Would you like instant ramen?” Hyosuke asked. “For breakfast?” Ariana asked. “Yeah, that’s all I have.” Hyosuke said. “Sure.” Ariana said and sat down at the table. “Here you are.” Hyosuke said putting a cup of noodles in front of her. “Thanks.” Ariana said and dug in. “You must’ve been hungry.” Hyosuke said. She finished her first bite. “Yeah, and is this your favorite or something?” Ariana asked. “Well… I don’t have time to shop, and I’m a terrible cook.” Hyosuke said.

Taiga came into the room. “Sorry, brother. It’s instant ramen again, is that ok?” Hyosuke asked. “It’s fine.” Taiga said and took Hyosuke’s cup of noodles. “Hey! That one was mine!” Hyosuke said. “Sorry.” Taiga said grinning. “Well… They do indeed act like brothers. I can tell they’re really close.” Ariana thought watching them. “I’ll boil the water then.” Hyosuke said. “I already did.” Taiga said. “Really? This is new. We should have cute girls here more often.” Hyosuke said teasingly. Taiga’s face turned slightly red. “He’s blushing… This makes me happy actually. So wait, that means… He thinks I’m cute? Yes!” Ariana thought. “It’s still raining.” Taiga said trying to change the subject. Ariana noticed a cat outside the window. “Guys… There’s a cat.” Ariana said.

The two of them turn to the window at the same time. “Hanasaki!” Hyosuke said rushing to the window and letting the cat inside. “Wait what?” Ariana mumbled. The cat named Hanasaki ignores Hyosuke and goes towards Taiga. “Jeez… Ignored again.” Hyosuke said. “Where were you, Hanasaki?” Taiga asked. “What the hell?” Ariana mouthed. “Ok… Why do you two keep saying my name?” She blinked really fast. “Because it’s her name..?” Hyosuke asked. “So you mean to tell me that the cat’s name is Hanasaki also?” Ariana asked. “Also? Is your last name Hanasaki?” Hyosuke asked. “Yeah. Ariana Hanasaki.” Ariana said. The two of them looked surprised. “By the looks of things, you didn’t know my last name even though you knew I was a thief?” Ariana asked. “Oh… I was sooo distracted by how cute you were that the last name didn’t matter to me.” Hyosuke said. “Right…” Ariana said. Taiga got a towel and dried off Hanasaki. “Hm… Suspicious behavior…” Ariana thought. “It’s done!” Hyosuke said carrying a cup of noodles and joining Ariana at the table.

She looked at her cup, and still had half. “I thought you were hungry. Your noodles will get cold if you keep them waiting any longer.” Hyosuke said. “I’m eating! I’m eating!” Ariana said and slurped down. “Do you want to taste some of mine? Say ah~” Hyosuke said. “No thank you! “ Ariana said in between chewing. He began to laugh. “You know, I may not look like it but I’m in the security business.” Hyosuke said. “Totally out of nowhere, but ok.” Ariana said. “You Black Foxes break into some of the best security systems around the world, so it’s my job to verify.” Hyosuke said. “Ok…” Ariana said. “You guys mostly steal works by the Japanese Leonardo da Vinci. Also, like I mentioned yesterday, you’re always going in and out of that bar. That is really suspicious, don’t you think?” Hyosuke asked. She was blinking really fast. “It’s not like I’m after you guys, I’m only interested in you.” Hyosuke said. “I guess since he’s a professional, it looks like a dead giveaway than how regular people see it.” Ariana thought.

Her phone began to ring. “Excuse me.” Ariana said and got up to the table and answered the call. “Hello?” “Ariana, where are you? I went over to your apartment, and the landlady said she kicked you out.” Riki said. “About that… I’m staying over with a new co-worker of mine for now.” Ariana said. “Ok, but you still need to watch your back.” Riki said. “I will.” Ariana answered. “Remember what we’re doing Wednesday?” Riki asked. “Yeah.” Ariana answered. “We’re meeting after the bar closes, so be ‘there’.” Riki said and hangs up.
