Hero's Pov-
To Hero, the word hate was a really strong word.
So it was the perfect word to define how he felt about his co-star , Josephine Langford.
There was so much animosity between the two that they'd verbally (and sometimes physically) attacked each other all the time. Not physical like full on fighting or anything like that, just an occasional flick to the head or a small food fight. Some of the crew and cast was sick and tired of it. The others found it cute.
Hero strongly believed that the people who found it cute were delusional. Today was the first day for the filming of their upcoming movie, After. The crew was setting up the stage said that they'd call the actors once they were finished.
Hero didn't have anything else to do, so he decided to go remind his nemesis that he hated her because, why not? He went to Josephine's trailer and opened the door.
"Just wa-" He started to say before he was interrupted.
"Don't you know how to knock?" Jo scolded as she furiously wiped her puffy eyes.
Hero stood there shocked at the fact that he had caught her crying. He honestly forgot that the girl he despised so much was still a human being that had feelings.

"Why are you standing there with my door open like an idiot?! Leave and please let the door hit you on the way out." Josephine said as she buried her face into her knees that were pulled to her chest.
Hero would usually make a snarky reply, but he decided to bite his tongue this time. He stepped inside the trailer, making sure to close and lock the door behind him.
Josephine thought he left so she began to lightly sob again. It wasn't until she felt a presence near her that she realized she wasn't alone. She looked up at Hero and gave him a death glare. He ignored it and instead took in her face. Her eyes were red and puffy with bags and ruined mascara underneath them. Despite her menacing glare, he could see the heartbroken expression she was trying to hide.
"Look, I'm not in the mood for y-"
"Josephine, I'm not here to insult you!" Hero exasperated as he took a seat next to her.
"Oh yeah? Then why did you come here?"Hero stayed silent and wore a guilty expression.
"Exactly. Now can you please just leave?" She said weakly as she buried her face in her knees once more.  Hero ran his hands over his face frustratedly.
"I originally did come over to say something rude, I admit, but I'm obviously not going to say it anymore." Hero said. Josephine didn't move or say anything. He didn't know what else to say so he just sat there awkwardly. After a few moments, Josephine lifted her head and hesitantly placed it on Hero's shoulder. He froze at the action, but forced himself to relax. Then he cautiously turned his body so that her head was now on his chest and his arms were wrapped around her. His heart was pumping so fast, he hoped Josephine couldn't feel it. He internally cursed himself for reacting this way. He thought these feelings disappeared. Maybe it was because she was undeniably attractive.
"Yeah, that's why my heart is beating fast. She's just attractive." Hero thought. But he ignored his nagging subconscious that reminded him that he was close to attractive girls all the time and they never made his heart react like this.

"Do you know what if feels like to want to be strong all the time, so you bottle everything up until you explode?" Josephine said. Hero didn't respond, he figured the question was rhetorical.
"All the mean things people say about me, the hate pages, the pressure, and the constant judgment, it's a lot to handle." Her voice began to break as Hero felt his shirt dampen. He instinctively tightened his hold around her. Hero knew exactly what she meant.
People easily forget that celebrities are still people, just like them. Their comments and slander hurt. Moreover, being constantly judged as an entertainer can take a huge toll on someone."
"But on the bright side, you have millions of supporters and much more fan pages than hate pages. Plus, people's judgments are their opinions, which don't matter." Hero grabbed her shoulders and gently pushed her up enough to make eye contact.
