Draco Malfoy was sitting at a Café on a busy street in London, tapping his fingers on the table impatiently as he waited for his date, Harry Potter, to come.
He took a small sip of his iced coffee and looked around at the buildings around him as a taxi honked.
Draco was one year out of school at Hogwarts and this was his third date with Harry.
They both lived in London and visited each other sometimes.
A few times, they even discussed about moving into an apartment together but never actually did it.
After another two or so minutes, Draco finally saw Harry emerging into the entrance and he spotted Draco under the umbrella and walked over.
He was panting a s he sat down.
"So sorry, Dray. I missed the train and had to wait another ten minutes for the next one," Harry said Draco grinned up at him.
"It's alright, love," Draco said, patting Harry on the back.
A waiter emerged from out of the inside of the Café and he walked over to them.
"Anything I can get you, sir?" The waiter asked politely to Harry.
"Yes, I'd like a Chai Latte, please," Harry said to the waiter.
"Great. Any other last minute orders you want, gentlemen?" He asked.
"Oh, yes. We'd like a platter of crumpets, please. Medium size," Draco orders before asking Harry for permission.
"Great," said the waiter again and he left.
"You like crumpets, do you?" Draco asked Harry considerately.
"Yes," Harry replied happily.
"Good. Well, long time, no see, huh? It's been a month," Draco, said, looking up at the sky we're a bird soared past.
"Yeah... hey listen, I wanted to tell you something," Harry said worriedly, sitting up straighter in his chair.
"I'm actually thinking about moving into an apartment together. Like, seriously. I mean, weee saying and we'd be able to see each other... literally all the time, and it's cheaper..." Harry trailed off worriedly.
"Harry, you really don't know how much I want to do that. But, it's just my dad..."
"That's what you say every time. Can't you try to persuade him?" Asked Harry hopefully.
"You know how hard that would be, and even if I could, he'd get mad as shit," Draco said sadly.
There was a moment of silence and Draco began to speak again.
"Y'know, if you want... help me. And I'll be open to try. But you have to help me," Draco concluded.
"Deals a deal," Harry said automatically, extending a hand for Draco to shake.
They laughed as Draco took it.
"Well. That's that, I guess, sighed Draco, beginning to tap his fingers on the table again.
"Yeah," Harry said, leaning back his arm.
"I really hope it'll work. I want to be with you. We could even get married in a few years.." Harry said dazedly, looking up at the sky.
"Hey, hey, hey. You know I don't like looking in the future," halted Malfoy.
"I know, but actually consider it..."
"I am, but that's in 5 fucking years!" Retorted Malfoy lazily.
Just than, the waiter returned with crumpets an a latte on his plate.
