Harriet walked out of the dining. She climbed up the stairs and saw every room was taken and the whole house was dirty. Her jaw dropped when the boys came after her and saw her. They burst out laughing at her face.
It was usually her who took care of the hygiene.Who can blame her?
" There is one room available how nice" stated Neville with a sarcastic smile
"Kreature" called Atlas
" Little Master, what can Kreature do for you?" Popped Kreature
" Kreature could we use Uncle Regulus's room," questioned Atlas
" Of course, little master," Kreature popped out to go and prepare the room.
" Well that was not at all shocking," started Neville
" That was the order of the flaming chicken wasn't it," answering his own question Atlas glanced at Harriet who was leaning against the wall and resting.
Something had changed since the third task, he thought it was just trauma. She was quiet and more observant.
Molly walked in as Kreature popped back and said
" Little Master, Kreature has set four beds and cleaned the room you all can share," saying this he popped back" Now wait a minute here, a young lady like you cannot say three grown men like them-," started Molly Weasley but was cut off by a glare sent her way.
Atlas Black
" The lady you are talking about is my God-Sister and I have known her better than any one of you adults, so why don't you just go and show your fake concerns somewhere else," snarled Atlas
Now every adult had gathered behind Molly.
" Atlas I don't think it's a good idea for her to sleep with you lot," advised Remus
" Father, I don't think it's any of your business, and we have been sleeping in the same room since we were three," Caleb smoothly responded.
Before anyone could say a word again.
Harriet called out for Kreature and asked." Kreature could you pop us four to the room," Kreature popped in and took the four to their room, leaving shocked adults, behind.
"Harriet, what the fuck was that about," growled Caleb.
" Caleb my patience is running low, remember when we read our inheritance tests that I had a soulmate well found out who it is, and it just makes me want to kill the redheads even more," snarled Harriet
So that's what was wrong with Harriet thought Atlas
"Harry calm down we need to have a plan before we do anything, who is your soulmate?" Neville walked over to Harriet looking right into her bright Avada Kedavra green eyes.
" The old coot set both of us to kill each other from the start and it doesn't stop here," Harriet walked over to the bed and sat down with her head in her hand.
Atlas walked over and knelt in front of her. Caleb stood next to her bed leaning against and Neville sat beside her.
" Sweetheart you got to tell us who it is before we start planning," Whispered Atlas.
"Tom Marvolo Riddle" She whispered, barely audible to anyone.
"What did you just say?" Whispered Caleb, his eyes glowed amber.
"Tom Riddle, Lord Voldemort, He who must not be named, Snake face," chocking a sob Harriet spoke louder. Tears streaming down her face. She looked ready to kill somebody.
Neville let her lean against him. Atlas was silently cursing the fates. Caleb was pissed of at the fortune of his honorary sister's fortune.
" August 3rd is the Ministry ball, we make our entrance." Smirked Caleb
A month had passed since the House of Black had seen the shift of power inside the household. Ever since Harriet and her friends, everyone paid heed to her words. After all, the entire house was now under her command and although Dumbledore was the secret keeper for the Fidelius under which the house was kept, which changed as soon as Atlas heard about it, the major wards were under Atlas's control, which meant that she could as well throw Dumbledore and his cohorts out of the main gate and no one would be able to even defend himself or herself.
Her relationship with Ron and Hermione had been on the verge of complete breakdown. It was not because of any severe quarrels or misunderstandings. Rather, the process was gradual, or at least it seemed like it.
With Harry spending more of her time with Sirius and the other three, chatting about stuff or practising secret magic, Hermione and Ron had spent their time together- Hermione doing her homework and revising her texts, while Ron wasted time either playing chess with one of his brothers or relaxing off languidly, much to her consternation. Ginny, well the girl was seen spending most of her time writing letters to someone and sending a flurry of letters. Hermione had even eavesdropped on one of her writing sessions to find that she was in fact, sending them to Dean Thomas, their yearmate in Gryffindor.
Knowing that it was none of her business she kept away from asking Ginny about it. Bill usually left for Gringotts every morning and returned home late, and was rarely seen except at dinner, that too when he did not dine up with some friends. The twins were busy inventing their world, making it a very boring household.
She had tried eavesdropping on Harry's private sessions, though Harry had told her off on the face, much to her consternation. She could swear that her friend was changing, becoming more heartless, cold and calculating. She noticed the changes and it worried her. Harry was turning out into exactly what Dumbledore had imagined.
The books she carried and studied, Hermione had checked them out in passing glances and none of them looked anything less than sinister. She had confronted Harry about it, and received a not-interested glance in return. She had spent the entire night ranting about her to Ron, while that brat slept soundly on the third floor. It drove her mad.
Harriet tolerated the two since the plan was to play Dumbledore at his own game.
Dumbledore was shut out of the house. He tried many times but it never worked.
Molly tried to peruse the children into letting the headmaster in but, they were so stubborn that they didn't even give two shits about it.Soon it was August 3rd.
