"Uh I'm sorry." Shawn said looking away, standing up. "It's okay, don't worry." I said. I've never admitted it, but I kinda did like Shawn. It's just something different about him.Good different.
SHAWN POV
She looked so beautiful and sad sitting there. I couldn't stop myself. Thinking that I would regret it, I leaned in as out lips connected. She pulled away after about 5 seconds. "Uh, I'm sorry." I said. "It's okay don't worry." She said as a wave of relief ran through my body.
"Let's go for a walk." She said as she grabbed our ice cream bowls.
We walked to the nearby playground. I've used to come here a lot when I was a kid, but I haven't in a while. I used to come her and think. Just think and situate things. "Angie, there is something I have to tell you." I blurted out, not thinking it through my head. Why the hell did I just say that!
"Okay.." She said as she swung on the swing. I sat down on the nearby swing and took a deep breath. "I know you just like went through a lot today, but I just want to tell you.." I continued "I really like you. I've liked you since the minute I've met you. I've been jealous seeing you with Hayes. I'm sorry, I just had to say that." I looked down at my thumbs, then back up at her to see her reaction.
"I appreciate you telling me that. I just have to have a couple days to comprehend everything, okay?" She said nicely as she smiled and looked up at the stars. Man I want to kiss her so badly right now. "Okay."
