Chapter 23

ANGIES POV

I walked inside as the door opened. "Hayes I don't want to see you!" I yelled turning around. I looked in the doorway, where Shawn stood. "oh sorry, I didn't know it was you." I said as I turned around and sat back on the couch.
"I think I'm going to stay here today with you, is that okay? All I would do there is continue righting a song I'm working on, you can help me." Shawn said letting out a smile. "Yea, I would love that." I said moving over to make room for Shawn.
"I'm working on a new song called Never Be Alone. It's about a girl, who just thinks that things won't turn out right for her, even though the eventually will. This is a made up girl, not any specific, just that basically anyone in the world can relate to." Shawn said.
"How far did you get in the song?" I asked
"Do you want me to show you what I have so far?" He said . I nodded my head . He swallowed, and took a breath. He started to sing
"I promise that one day I'll be around, I'll keep you safe I'll keep you sound. right now it's pretty crazy and I don't know how to stop but slow it down. Hey, I know here are some things we need to talk about, but I can't stay, so let me hold you a little longer now. And take a piece of my heart , and make it all your own, so when we are apart , you'll never be alone, you'll never be alone." He stopped singing.
"That's all I have so far." He smiled.
"I really like it." I said. That's one major hung I like about Shawn,he actually cares about people.Most guys just want to get into girls pants, and doesn't even care what they think about it. Shawn is truly a genuine, nice person. "Just give me a little while and I'll eventually will come up with something." I said. Shawn continued to watch the hangover. "I'll be back." I said . I quickly stood up. I ran up the stairs, and grabbed my song notebook. Most people don't know about it, not even my mom. I sing sometimes in my free time, I guess I'm okay. I ran back down stairs and started thinking of lyrics. Two hours later, I finally got a couple stanzas down.
"Okay, listen to this." I said.
"You'll never be alone,when you miss me close you're eyes , we may be far but never gone. When you fall asleep tonight just remember that we lay under the same stars. Hey, I know there are something's we need to talk about, but I can't stay, so let me hold you a little longer now. " and I repeated the main line.
Shawn just looked at me. "So what do you think?" I asked. "I NEVER KNEW COULD SING, LET ALONE WRIGHT SONGS! " ShAwn shouted. "Yea..." I said . "Well it was amazing!" Shawn said. We connected our parts and sang together.
