I felt weird just going up and asking him so being the person I was I spent the rest of the morning I asked around but I never really got an answer, I couldn't speak the language of most of the creatures there and the ones I could understand said that they never actually talk to him because he isn't ever here. That made me feel really bad because I instantly knew where he was all that time. All that time he waited, three months wasted...
I was going to make up for it. I was determined now. For the next hour me and Miranda planned a small plan to make up for it, Miranda said I should kiss him but I declined instantly, she just giggled and I could tell she was going to find a way to make me oh great I thought.

The next morning I got up at the crack of dawn to set up the plan. By noon everything was how I wanted it. When I got back Fox Man was sitting by himself and carving a piece of wood into what looked like a little fox, I giggled a little then stopped when he looked up.
"Hey Raven!" He smiled as soon as he saw me.
"Hey!" I smiled back and waved a little.
"What's up?"
"Well, um... I- uh..." For a second I started to forget everything "I... wanted to show you something I found!" I finally got out feeling my cheeks heat up in embarressment. "Sure, I'll take a look!" He smiled widely and got up, he sat his stuff on the log he was sitting on and threw his bow over his shoulder. "Follow me" I told him quickly before darting off to the surprise.

I could hear him behind me and I knew it wasn't much farther. I sped up only to hear his foot steps getting closer, I wanted to stay ahead but he was gaining. Luckily I reached the clearing and smiled, I heard him stop behind me "what did y-" I turned and watched his jaw drop. "I felt like I should repay you for everything" I took a seat at the picnic I had set up, I hadn't learned his name but I had learned a few other things, I had some peanut butter and honey sandwiches and a kettle of tea set up on a soft blanket with plates, cups, and napkins.

"Do you like it?" I asked with a nervous smile.
"Like it?" Fox Man asked then ran up and have me a big hug that lifted me off the ground "I love it!" He exclaimed happily and wagged his tail like a puppy. I laughed as he spun me around then put me down "then how about we take a seat and eat silly goose?" I laughed and Fox Man made a face that clearly meant he was confused "goose?" He asked and I could have sworn I heard a small, but totally adorable, voice crack "I'm a fox!"
