I woke up to shouting. Alex was shaking me wildly "Raven! Raven wake up!" He was shouting.
"I'm up I'm up" I muttered, it was surprisingly warm in the tent "common Raven we gotta go!" He told me, his eyes where wide with fear "Alex what's going on?" I asked him as I got out of bed quickly "raiders" Alex replied "there coming for you we have to go NOW"
"But-"
"Save questions for later! Come on!" Alex then grabbed my hand and ran out of the tent with me staggering along behind him trying not to trip. Creatures ran around in panic and a tent at the far end of the camp was on fire, I saw shadowy figures on horses riding threw to our side of the camp and watched as they ran people over and fired arrows into the crowd of panic. One arrow his someone next to me, the small troll fell over instantly and blackness spread from the arrow, the trolls body started to decay an if Alex hadn't been dragging me along I probably would have froze in the spot from the horror of it. I didn't get too good of a look at the arrow but I could have sworn it was the same one I had seen when Alex saved me. Finally my adrenaline kicked in and my instinct took over, I ran as fast as I could with Alex until we could no longer hear the screaming of the camp and the woods where dark and quiet.
"Alex" I panted "w-who where those people? And-and why did you say they where after me?" Alex was bent over panting as well but he looked at me and told me anyways "because your a dreamer Raven, and dreamers don't belong in the realm of dreams"
