Shikamaru raised an eyebrow at the (h/c) female before him. She was shaking nervously, and she knew she couldn't lie considering that he saw everything. Naruto looked back and forth between her and Shikamaru obviously not understanding what was going on. She licked her lips, and opened her mouth to reply. 

"So! What are you guys up to?" she jumped at the sound of Kakashi's voice behind her. Oh thank god..."There was something I wanted to ask you Shikamaru..." Kakashi trailed off smiling his one-eyed smile putting his arm around Shika casually walking away. (Name) let out a breath of relief. 

"What was that about?" Naruto inquired. She waved her hand in the air, as if to swat the topic away. 

"It was nothing! Don't worry about that..." Naruto sweat-dropped. 

"Whatever you say..."  Thank god Kakashi interrupted us, now I guess I have to distract Naruto.

(Name) huffed. "Naruto...It's getting kinda late...Can you show me to your apartment?" 

"Of course, (Name)! It's this way!" Naruto grabbed your hand and started pulling you along. (Name) tilted her head to the ground, her face ablaze. Part of her wanted him to let go of her hand, but the other was wanting to hold on. He turned a few corners, and when he made it there, with her in hand, he gestured to the door before opening it. "Well...this is where I live..." His hands hovered over the knob for a few seconds and (Name) saw his face go pale.

"What is it Naruto?" 

"I FORGOT TO CLEAN UP BEFORE YOU GOT HERE!!!" He ran into the room, and closed the door in your face. It's not like I haven't seen your dirty room before, Naruto... She heard shuffling on the other side, and then the door swung open. "Okay! You can come in now!" (Name) laughed lightly to hersel f and walked in. It was as homey as she thought it was going to feel. It was small, but not puny. It had your basic kitchen and bedroom (in shinobi standards), and a bathroom to the side. "Welcome to the one and only future Hokage's home! Ehheh, sorry it's small." He said sheepishly. (Name) smiled at his slight shyness he carried. 

"It's alright, I hate getting lost easily, so this is home to me." 

"Our home." Naruto whispered.  

"Mhm!" (Name) smiled at him. She knew that he would like to live with someone, considering he has lived alone his whole life. The light from the windows had dimmed down, so the room became quite dark. It's been a long day, and (Name) was getting quite tired. She was going to say something, but she remembered there was only one bed. Her face reddened, but she decided that she would sleep on the floor, considering it was the only option...the other option was...she didn't even want to think about it! 

"Ne, (Name)-chan...why is your face all red?" Naruto asks (very cutely you might add) her cocking his head. 

"N-N-Nothing N-Naruto." (Name) stuttered. Sure she had her fair share of sleepovers with her friends and slept in the same bed with them this was different. She was a girl and he was almost a fully mature man. 

"I'll just sleep on the floor." She said quietly, about to pull a blanket off his bed. (Name) felt someone grab her wrist.

"Do you trust me (Name)-chan?" Naruto said is a low tone. 

"Of course I do Naruto, but-" 

Naruto leaned closer to her hear and softly whispered, "I promise I won't do anything (Name)-chan, we both know nothing will happen." 
(Name) had her mouth gaped open. This wasn't the loud mouth Naruto, she knew growing up. This was a more serious and mature Naruto with a childish behavior with friends. Man, did the creator of Naruto mess up. Her face turned blood red, not believing what was happening.

"I'LL SLEEP ON THE FLOOR!!!!" She covered her face with a blanket and curled up by the foot of the bed. She threw the covers over her head, blocking out the redness in her cheeks. She really hoped that she didn't sound rude. She heard Naruto sigh, and let out a "g'night". She listened to the bed creak under Naruto's weight. It must have been hours she laid there wide awake. She heard Naruto's light snore. It wasn't obnoxious, but sweet sounding. She pulled the covers off her head and sat up. Naruto's back was to her. It was quite uncomfortable on the floor...

She pulled the covers down gently, and got into the bed beside Naruto without waking him up. She was drawn to Naruto's body heat, and snuggled closure to him, breathing in a smokey scent. What she didn't know, was that Naruto was awake, and smiling to himself in delight.

He thought he was furious when Naruto grabbed his precious (Name) by the hand. Now he has to sleep with her?! No one sleeps with his dear (Name) except him! He hopped down from the tree he was in and punch it with so much force, that it shattered. All he saw was red, the possessive want was bubbling in his chest. 

Brat, calm down!

The masked man clutched his head in pain. "He has her! She's mine!"

She won't be yours if you keep acting like that! Look at all the commotion you're causing!

He gazed at the newly manmade path he made. He watched as his knuckles heal the inflicted wounds he caused. If only he found her first! They would camp out together, teach her how to control her new abilities, and life a semi peaceful life, but the damn blue haired lady had to approach her first. He drew closure to the apartment and peeked in through the window. He watched his precious (Name) sleep soundly. He knows if he stays here for long, Naruto will sense his presence. Naruto already jerked in bed, holding his stomach. It startled (Name) awake. "What happened?" She asked. Her voice was like music to his ears...although the worry in her voice wasn't directed towards himself, which made his jealousy and hatred swell for his blonde counterpart. 

"It's nothing (Name)-chan...Just I felt something weird just now inside me..."
