Her first instinct was to gasp for breath. Although that wasn't very successful. She knew that any breath would be sufficient, and she struggled in his grip. (Name) clawed at his calloused, bruised, and scratched hands that was squeezing the life out of her. Her head felt numb and she could see death reaching his hand out to her.

A deep shadow was cast over Sasuke's eyes, and he tilted his chin up and glared down at her with his scarlet sharinggan. "You think this is some game?" He asked with a sinister laugh. "Huh? (Name)-chan?" She tried to make out words, but her world was becoming fuzzy. Her face was purple and her lips trembled with each time she attempted to speak. He gave a crooked, wicked smirk and leaned down to her ear. "Having trouble speaking?" His grip tightened. "Not so brave now, are you?" He chuckled. "It's easy to be brave when you have nothing to lose...but here you are on the brink of death...and you are petrified...it's pitiful." (Name) fumed.

"You're...wrong..." She managed to choke out. He narrowed his eyes at her. "about... everything," she gasped again and tried to see straight.

"I'm wrong!?" He screeched outraged. Sasuke raised up her body and threw her across the room. "I was so close, (Name), SO DAMN CLOSE! How long it took to gain power, and petty little you stopped me from getting my precious revenge." His eyes held the look of viciousness.

(Name) was clinging onto to the tiniest bit of life. "Itachi is-is," she croaked, struggling to get the last word out out. "Innocent." (Name) whispered.

Sasuke stared dumbfounded at her words. "You really do think this is a game." He spat. "You know nothing of my brother!" He roared. (Name) shook her head, and pain stabbed her neck as she did so. Tears welled up and she whispered softly.

"No, Sasuke...you are the one who knows nothing about Itachi."

"I KNOW NOTHING!? Did you see the massacre with with your own eyes? Did you see the blood cover walls, of the Uchiha district? Oh! What about seeing Itachi murder our parents in front of my own eyes!?" Sasuke raged.

(Name) took a shaky breath, "No, but...but, the question is," (Name) paused, standing up on shaky knees. "Were you there when Itachi was forced to take on the mission to kill your clan? No? THEN YOU KNOW NOTHING AS WELL!" She screamed, and her neck felt like it was on fire. She felt the amulet glow as it heated her skin, but it was only enough to take a few steps toward the fuming Uchiha. Her throat tightened in the effort to keep herself from crying, and it only made the pain in her neck increase.

Her head hit the ground before she even knew what happened. Splitting pain coursed its way down her spine, making her thoughts clouded. She was going to die here. She was going to die. This was it. She wasn't even going to be buried in her own dimension.
She felt a sticky substance on the back of her head; she didn't bother touching it considering she figured it was blood. Sasuke towered over her weakened body, and she, for the first time, was truly scared she was going to die here. She trembled, and tried to drag herself away, but he grabbed her by her (h/c) hair and pulled her up. Her neck felt like it was going to fall off. She howled in pain.

She was so dizzy, so tired of being thrown around like a rag doll. The pain was eating her alive, and by this point, she just wishes that Sasuke would put an end to her life. Nausea instead swallowed her up into darkness, and she barely felt herself hit the ground once more.

(Name) woke up in a dimly lit room. She was lying in a bed, to her relief, and she noticed candles placed around the room. What is this? Some 18th centry house? She sat up, and immediately regretted it. Her head spun, so she put her head back onto the soft pillow. Where am I? She didn't have the strength to get up, so instead she took in her surroundings. Now that she was fully awake, she realized there was a cast wrapped around her neck, and multiple bandages placed on her wounds.

She was all too confused. Where is Sasuke? Zetsu? Itachi?

She glanced around, and noticed her clothes neatly folded on a stood nearby. They no longer had any blood stains on them, so whoever washed them she should be thank---wait. Her eyes widened, and she looked under the covers frantically. She had on a long t-shirt that looked like it belonged to a guy. Her face blushed horribly at the thought of someone dressing her. She covered her face with the covers as if there were someone watching her. The sheets smelled of a smokey lavender incense. When she pulled the covers back so she could breathe, she was met with a mask.

"Ah!" She yelled in shock. She was taken aback, and covered her mouth. "Sorry..." She mumbled. The man didn't say anything, just set a bowl of hot soup next to her on the mahogany bedside table. "Erm...thank you..." She choked. She didn't know why, but she felt intimidated by his presence, yet at the same time she felt warm inside due to the comfort she felt. He turned around to leave, but then after taking another glance, she recognized this man. "Oi! Haven't I seen you somewhere before? In the forest...you jumped in the way to save me." He didn't turn around. "Erm...it was you, right?" Suddenly, he was close to her, and pushing away a stray hair. Her eyes widened by the sudden act, and the masked man chuckled. He leaned back and went to leave. "Hey! Aren't you gonna...you know...tell me who you are or...?"

He started to retreat even quicker, and she tried to get out of bed to follow him, and that made him stop. So did she. He looked back at her with his cat mask and demanded, "Stay in bed," His voice was raspy, and (Name) felt as if she heard it somewhere. Everything about him...made her feel an odd sense of deja vu.

Feeling like she had no other choice, she quickly lied back down on the bed. He disappeared through the dark doorway, and she sighed deeply to herself.

She will find out who he is.
