Once upon a high school

"I'm so pissed!"

John was complaining about how Belle had to live with him. I couldn't blame him though sense I had to live with a Ana. I mean I love her and all but she's a pain.

"At least Belle is the quiet one in that group."

"Not as quiet as Alice!" Tink chimed in. We all chuckled at that. Alice was probably the most quiet girl in this school.She was a pretty good painter, but her work was very different. Repunzel was by far the best painter in the school. Alice always had a crazy imagination with her art.

Speaking of, I looked over at Repunzel quietly eating her pasta. She hadn't said a word except for 'hello' to anyone today. It's very odd, because usually she's always talking.

"Hey, Zel, you okay?" I questioned, nudging her arm with my elbow.

"Oh, yeah I'm fine," she said looking at her pasta which she was playing with. She didn't seem fine, she seemed out of it and I wanted to know what was wrong.

"Are you sure?" I asked. She kept her head down.

"Yeah, just a little tired." I dropped the issue and started listening to John complain about Belle.

"If she ever has one of her bitchy friends in my house I'm going to kick her out right there and then."

"Hey, my sister isn't a complete bitch." I threw my hands up in the air sarcastically. John was staring daggers at Ana, who was a few tables away. I just rolled my eyes and giggled.

"Hey guys, I'm thinking about a party this weekend. I've been so stir-crazy."

We all excitedly said yes, except Repunzel. I looked over expecting her to throw her hands up in the air shout 'paaaaaarrrttaaay' like every other time, but this time she kept picking at her food.

"Zel Zel, you're coming right?" Meg questioned. Repunzel opened her moth but hesitated to speak.

"Uh, sorry I can't. I guess I already have something planned."

"What? You're missing a party? You never miss party's!" Jane implied, egging Repunzel on.

"I just can't go alright?!" With thy Repunzel took her things and Steiner out of the lunchroom, with everyone watching her back. John furrowed his eyebrows.

"What the hell had gotten into her?"

Lunch had finished and I had already gotten to my next class. The only person I knew in Biology was beast, but he always hung around with the other football players. I sat in my usual spot, the corner of the room.

I was watching the rowdy teenagers talk and laugh when a guy came into the classroom. He had bleach blond hair that was spiked up. He was wearing an oversized navy blue hoody and faded jeans. He handed our teacher a paper and she scanned it with her eyes before pointing to me.

He slowly walked over to my lab station before plopping down right next to me. He looked ahead at the board.

"Hi, I'm Elsa," I said reaching out my hand. He just looked over at me and slightly nodded, then started sketching something in his notebook. I just rolled my eyes and looked towards the board.

He's rude.

Before I could say anything the teacher started speaking.
"So everyone, we have a new student in our class. He's not new to the school, he just had some schedule changes."

Everyone looked over at the boy sitting next to me. He just quickly brought his hand up and nodded. The football players started snickering and whispering to each other.

"Welcome Jack." The teacher finished. After the announcement we all started taking notes on the presentation she was showing. I mindlessly looked over at Jack's notepad to see he was still sketching. It looked like it was going to be a person.

"Who are you drawing?"

"I don't know yet." He quietly responded.

The rest of class we kept whispering to each other. The teacher didn't notice, she was to distracted by Beast throwing bunched up paper around the room.

The bell rang and I walked over to beast to say goodbye. I also wanted to keep talking to Jack, but when I turned around he was already heading out the door.

I was strangely intrigued by him. I know it's cliché, but he was so mysterious and I just wanted to know more about him.

So I will.
