"Woooooo! I am beating your ass on this!" I shouted, jumping with joy.

"Oh please, shut up." Peter whined. We both started laughing as I was punching him in the arm.

"Okay, I'm calm now." I said after I had done my 'very happy dance'. Peter just laughed then shut down the gaming machine.

"We should probably get started on homework, cause if we have a late paper again..." Peter started.

"UGH! Why must this man of evil make us suffer! For why does tis' world of hope fall short! Tell me, someone of human skin! Tell me!"

"Dude... You are screwed up." Again, we both started laughing. Surprisingly, I actually pulled out my text book and started studying for my history quiz. Automatically, right when I looked at the page, my mind just went blank. I couldn't think of anything except of the color white. It's almost as if I forgot to read. About two hours past and I only made two flash cards.

"Chio, I'm gonna go home. I'll see you tomorrow."

"Yeah, see you." I responded. He walked out the door and I just put my stuff back in my backpack. When I stood up I heard a saw coming from the garage. My dad must have been making another useless wooden gadget. When I walked in he was making parts of a wooden clock.

"Aye, my boy! How was your day?" My dad said. His cheeks were red, and his greying hair was covered in saw dust.

"I'm okay, so what's for dinner?"
"Most likely the fish me and your uncle got together."

"Ugh! I hate fish."

"Well, you probably haven't tried fresh, lake fish!" He called out as I was leaving. I took my phone then started running up the stairs to my bedroom. I saw that Peter was texting me.

I put down my phone and tried to start doing my homework again. I wasn't in any enriched classes, so I had the easiest homework compared to Peter's. That doesn't mean I'm gonna do all of it! I wish I didn't procrastinate. But then how would I play my games?

I heard my dad yell that it's time to eat. I groaned and started dragging myself out of my room, downstairs.
"Dad?" Here comes the failure of me trying to lie.

"Yeah son?"

"I don't feel good, I think I'm gonna barf." I looked at my dad and pretended to look sick. He just started laughing in my face.

"It's so funny when you try to lie. Your nose gets red and your nostrils start to flair!" He said while chuckling at himself.
"Just come on and eat!" He motioned to the table.

"Ugh, fine."
