SPECIAL CHAPTER 1

A chapter where-in Caeleb knew about Amanda was about to name Faris after Jay.

"Cae," I called Caeleb, halos mag-iilang taon na ring binawi ng panginoon si Faris sa amin. Gusto ko lang umamin kay Caeleb tungkol sa isang bagay na alam kong ikakagalit niya.

"Yes, baby?" Caeleb sat beside me and wrapped his arms around my waist. "What do you need? May gusto ka ba?" He asked while caressing my hair using his hand.

"I just want to tell you something..." I told him, tumingin ako ng deretso sa mga mata niya. Nagtaka naman agad siya, kitang kita sa pagkunot ng noo niya. "Promise me, you will not get angry." I held his hand.

"What is it?" He asked.

"Promise?" I asked.

"I can't promise you that, Amanda." Caeleb answered as he brushed up his hair using his fingers. Mukhang stressed na siya sa akin.

"Si Faris... I was about to name him after Jay... Including his surname." I nervously looked at him when I heard his sigh. "Pero pagkapanganak ko... Inamin niya sa akin lahat... at sabi niyang papatayin mo siya if ever man na ganon ang ipapangalan ko."

"Talaga! Mapapatay ko talaga 'yong gagong 'yon! Ayaw ko ngang patawarin e'!" Iritadong sagot ni Caeleb atsaka tumayo habang nakapamewang. "Ang pangit kung Jay ipapangalan mo... Kadiri."

I laughed a bit. "Buti nga inamin niya... Kung hindi Jay ang ipapangalan ko sa bata kasama pa ang apelido niya." I stood up and held Caeleb's cheek.

"Okay," Caeleb just nodded and looked away. "Stop talking about that shit." Caeleb rolled his eyes.

"Sorry na," I hugged him on his waist as I leaned my head on his chest. "Faris Alexander naman na 'yung anak natin at masaya na siya na 'yun ang pangalan niya." Malambing kong sabi.

"Kahit ako pangalanang Jay, aba. I rather die." Caeleb shook his head. "Never in my life! Yuck!" Umakto pang nasusuka.

"Ito talaga," I tiptoed and left a peck on his lips. "We're happy now, let him be happy too. I know he did something wrong before pero alam kong alam mo na nakaraan na 'yon... Kung patuloy nating babalikan, hindi tayo makakusad." I held both sides of his cheeks.

"I know..." Caeleb wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to his body. "It's just pisses me off... He really ruined his name, so I don't care. Hindi ko naman siya inaano." He tucked a portion of my hair at the back of my ear.

"Caeleb." I warned him.

"Amanda." He looked straight into my eyes. "Hayaan mong mabuhay siya hanggang sa kailan niya gusto." Caeleb gave me a small smile.

I know that what happened before still hunts him. The trauma that Jay and I brought him. It's not easy to go through that but I know Caeleb will go through it with me. I give him constant assurance, love, and care. I let him feel those things while attending to his psych sessions.
