Tina POV
I woke up and found myself on a hospital bed with a cast on my arm and a bandage on my ribs. I tried to move but a sharp pain prevented me.
"Hey, T" I looked to my left and saw Alex sitting on a chair next to my bed. He had an eye patch covering a bruise on his right eye, a bruise on his cheek and his left arm in a sling.
"Hey" I croaked as I shifted my body upwards. "You look terrible."
"So do you." He chuckled and winced in pain. "Hurts to laugh."
"How are the others?" I asked.
"Well, apart from the bruised ribs, fractured skulls and missing teeth, they're ok." Alex replied. "Adrien's devastated though. Marinette's MIA. They've taken her."
"Damn. The Brotherhood wasn't messing around with their tech. I think Isaac and his friends support them." I said.
"No kidding. I think some of their weaponry were ex military." Alex replied, rubbing his injured abdomen.
I sighed and ran my good hand through my messy hair "Guess we'll be stuck in here for a while."
Alex nodded and rested his good hand on mine.
"We'll get Mari back. And take down The Brotherhood." Alex said.
"Mr Peirce. You are supposed to be in your bed." A nurse's voice rang out behind us.
"Merde. I got to go. See you later." Alex said and kissed me on the forehead before he followed the nurse back to his bed.
I sighed as I allowed sleep to take over me.
