Alex POV

I tugged on the red shirt collar, feeling really awkward.

"Geez, I feel hot as hell in this chicken suit. Maybe it's bad idea to wear a jumpsuit underneath." I said.

"At least your trousers fit. Mine barely do." Nino said as he tugged on the waist of his trousers. "I can barely walk."

"Hey, at least we look good." Adrien said as he struck various poses and admiring his outfit.

"Careful, Adrien. Your Chat Noir is showing." I said with a smirk.

Nino laughed.

"Careful, Alex. Your Le Loup is showing." He replied.

"I don't get it." I said.

"You being a smartass." Adrien answered.

"I'm always a smartass, Agreste. The same couldn't be said for you. Due to the fact you've friendzoned your crush multiple times." I said as I pulled on my tie.

"I did not!" Adrien retorted.

"Does the term "she's just a friend" ring any bells?" I asked with a grin.

"BURN!" Nino shouted. All the boys laughed.

"Alright, fine. I was oblivious. But those days are gone. I love milady with and without the mask." Adrien said.

"True." I shrugged. "It only took you until Chloe revealed her secret identity by showing Tikki."

"Oh yeah. That was not a good day for us. Patrols became more and more tougher for us." Adrien replied.

"And let's not forget Hawk Moth targeted her. And then you. Even going as far as disowning you for being a vigilante." I added.

"Ouch. Must've been tough." Gabriel said.

"It was." Adrien said glumly.

"Alright, boys we're done here. Let's head to the airship. The girls are waiting for us." Shaun announced.

We arrived at the airship and prepared to take off. I sat next to Tina.

"You ok?" I asked.

Tina shook her head.

"I'm going back to the place where my mother was killed. I don't know how I feel about this." She replied. "And I don't want to lose anyone else. Including you." She held my hand. I squeezed it gently.

"Hey. You're not going to lose me. Besides. I've been through worse situations and I still come out on top." I said.

"I'm serious, Al. I'm scared of losing you." Tina said tearfully.

"We're going to get through this. I know we will." I said.

"You better be right. If anything happens to you I-" I stopped her with a kiss. I pulled away.

"We'll be ok." I said.

Tina smiled and rest her head on my chest. I wrapped my arm around her.

I stared outside the window and gazed at the Eiffel Tower.

I hope it won't be the last time I'll see it.

Adrien POV

I overheard Alex's and Tina's conversation and felt a sense of dread in my heart. But also a sense of hope. I sighed and slumped in my seat.

"Marinette. Hang on. Your knight in shining armour is coming to rescue you." I whispered to myself and fell into a dreamless sleep.
