CHAPTER TWO

Genova's coronation day arrived one week after king Zeno's death, no one heard from Kyrian since then. The coronation was to take place just outside the castle were the portal to the gates of hell was located all elders of Gondolph assembled lined up and waiting for Genova. The ceremony was to begin in this way, when Genova enters into the room, all elders were meant to bring out their wings and flap, then when Genova gets to his seat he brings out his wings then all would sit.

When Genova entered and everything was done they all began to drink and make merry as they watched the musician and dancers perform then, After sometime Genova stood up and called the attention of everyone

"Cheers to the whole nobles and Gondolph, cheers everyone" He said lifting his cup

"Cheers" they exclaimed in unison.

After sometime a crystal was brought to Genova in order that he could be stripped of his power and pass through the Gates of hell as tradition states.

When the crystal was brought to him, Genova without hesitation stood up and touched the crystal, and immediately it turned red, signifying that it was done, but when Genova turned to face the elders once again, he saw Kyrian come down and land in the middle of everyone.

"I am sorry, did I interrupt?" he asked sarcastically

"No brother, you are in time to see me enter the gates of hell" Genova replied acting dumb

"I am not sure you will be entering today Kyrian said glaring at Genova as he slowly came closer.

"Why ? Kyrian don't make any scene I will be going now" Genova said turning around to face the gates of hell portal but kyrian shot a fire ball at him which made Genova dodge, and seeing the color of the fire, Genova was instantly shocked "Dark fire, how did you acquire it so fast?" Genova asked

"You don't need to know" Kyrian said and brought out his wings "Because today you die" Kyrian concluded and some royals Tried to stop him but he created a wave that pushed them away, then he flies to Genova and when he came close enough Kyrian tried to punch him but Genova dodged, but without his powers Kyrian always had the upper hand he began to shoot fire to Genova and though he tried to dodge he still got hit by a good sum of them. Finally when kyrian saw Genova was off balance he caught him and flew up then began to deal a good amount of damage to him till Genova landed on the floor. Despite, Kyrian wouldn't stop there, he caught Genova who was now bleeding and bruised then flew to the edge of the kingdom with the royals following he begging him to stop but it was all to no avail as Kyrian with murderous looks in his eyes dangled Genova over the edge.

"No one...........no one can stand in my way, not even my blood" Kyrian said and threw Genova down, and instantly all the nobles fell on their knees, opening their mouth as they watched in awe what brother does to brother and were unable to do anything. After this kyrian flew back to the gates of hell portal and entered into the portal, while still with his powers.

-Abandon police station in China-

Olden day China

Genova came falling from the sky and landed on a house breaking the roof in the process, he landed on the floor, with nothing but hay to break his fall, he then got up and walked slowly staggering as he moved. He then leaned on an iron pole, but when he pushed himself to walk more futher he fell on the floor and slowly went unconscious.

Three hours later, Genova opened his eyes slowly, trying to cover the sun reflecting from the window. When his eyes where fully opened, and he saw himself in a room laying on a bed covered with blanket. He was still struggling to sit up straight on the bed, when a woman walked in. She had brown hair, and blue eyes and wore a white robe ,with her long hair that reached her back. She held a glass of water in her hands, which she placed on the table when she saw Genova was awake.

"Sir, I am a market girl, and I was in the shop wheni heard someone fall I the old station when I got there, I found you laying down on the floor in a abandon police station so I brought you here

"Arrg" Genova said holding his chest as he slowly stood up from the bed . "Thank you very much, were am I ?" Genova asked

"You are in Sudan China I notice you are new here" she replied

"Yes"

"How did you get here?" she asked

"I am on a run, my boss is trying to get me killed" Genova replied

"Why" she asked

"He is afraid he says I know too much about him I could turn on him so he burnt my house and killed my sister I had to run away" Genova replied.

"Why didn't you contact the authorities" she asked.

"I did he has a strong connection to the authorities, so I couldn't stop him" Genova replied

"What is his name ?"

"I...... I don't remember" Genova stammered and held his head

"so what happened"?

"So I came to this town, and I was in grief so I drank to stupor and had to find a place to sleep so I stayed there" Genova replied.

"Sorry okay, so you don't have any where to go to?" she asked

"Yes" Genova replied

"fine you can stay here for the mean time. You can stay in this room it's the visitors room, I need to go to the market" she said "by the way my name is Sylvia, what's yours?" she asked
"Aren't you afraid of getting involved in my affairs ?" Genova asked
"It's okay, you will just hide here for few weeks." Sylvia replied

"Oh.....oh, I am Genova" he said looking at her

"Genova, " she said and walked away

Genova stood up and loosed his hair, which was held by a golden male hair pin. it made his black long hair role down and reached the end of his back, and he dropped the pin and sat on the bed for about five minutes when Sylvia came in and gave him some food.

"I will be heading to the market now" she said

"Okay" Genova replied as she left the house. Genova sat on the bed when he started having flash back of what happened, and started sweating, shaking on the bed.

"So I can only wait and hope I will be ready to face him when he comes out" Genova said soliloquizing and clenched his fist.

-Deep inside a forest far away from Gondolph-

Scotus stood by the window drinking tea and thinking, when he dropped his cup and went out of his hut and stood.

"Genova, you knew this was going to happen, why didn't you try avoid it ? Or is this your stage ten immortal trial, I hope you can get through this" Scotus said, and walked out of his house into the forest.

-Earth-

Genova was laying on his bed and crossed his hands on his chest when Sylvia walked into his room

"Genova" she called out standing at the door side then, he stood up from his bed and walked to her. "I noticed you didn't have cloths so I bought you some, just a few but it will be enough till you go back" she said and handed the bag to Genova.

"Thank you" Genova said

"it's nothing just few robes" Sylvia replied .

"They are beautiful" Genova said smiling

"I just got them, I was afraid you won't like them" Sylvia replied

"Thank you," Genova said.
