TRUE COLOURS

    _Next Day_

Genova crossed his legs, closed his eyes, and places his arms on his lap to meditate. He sat still for twelve hours meditating. When he was done, he came out of his room, and saw Sylvia sitting down on the floor resting by his door sleeping. He carried her into his room and placed her on the bed and sat on his desk trying to gather his thoughts together.

   _Gondolph_
The old witch finished her meditation and came out. The first person she saw at the door, she killed by waving her hand and burning him. She walked to the king’s palace and greeted the king.
“My lord” she bowed.
“Have you gotten your powers back?”
“My lord, I still need time.” She said.
“All right. You have all the time you want."
    _Earth_
Two months had passed, and Sylvia believed that Genova looked very okay. Everything became normal again and Sylvia never talked about the fight.
It was night time when Genova and Sylvia went camping. They got on a horse and drove off into the woods. When they got there, they set up for their camping, had some dinner, and laid down to stargaze. It was a short time before Sylvia began to doze. Genova lay awake stroking her hair without taking his gaze from the stars. Suddenly, he began to cough and coughed out blood. He stood up quickly walked a hundred feet away from Sylvia. He sat, crossed his legs, and began to meditate. Without warning, blood burst from his mouth, and he held his chest groaning.
“Kyrian!” he moaned through clenched teeth.
    _Gondolph_
Kyrian sat on the throne drinking wine and watching the maidens dance. Koneta walked in and bowed.
“Your majesty, you called for me.” He said but Kyrian did not reply. Kyrian smiled without taking his eyes of the dancing maidens.
“My king,” Koneta said to draw his attention.
“Yes?” Kyrian said and waved his hand, signaling the maids to leave. “It’s time to finish what I have started, I called you here to get my red robe ready for tomorrow.” Kyrian said.
“Yes, my king. How many soldiers shall I prepare?”
“No, no need for them this time. This will take me only an hour.
    _ Earth_
Genova and Silvia sat in the kitchen room having breakfast, and though Genova tried his best to hide his pain, Sylvia saw he was not okay. His face looked pale and she knew he was trying to hide it so, she felt it was better she did not ask about it.

   _Gondolph – Next Day_
Kyrian stood in his room with his hands stretched out. One of his maid dressed him in his red robe.
“It’s time” Kyrian said to Koneta.
“Yes, my lord, but don’t you need at least five men?”
“Oh, shut up! Don’t you believe in my abilities?”
“Yes, my lord, bu…”
“So, hush it. Leave” Kyrian concluded, and the servant left. With a smirk on his face, Kyrian came out of the room and flew to the edge of the Kingdom.
   _EARTH_
Kyrian stomped the ground and released a huge spread of fire that burnt recklessly, burning the people around while those that managed to be unhurt fled for their lives.
“Genova! Come, let us finish this!” he bellowed. “I know you can feel my presence. Come and face me.” He turned and burned an elderly woman running to safety. While the others fled faster.
    _Sylvia’s House_
Genova and Sylvia were still eating when Genova felt a strong wave of energy. He immediately stood up and looked towards the window. Sylvia noticing Genova, dropped her spoon.
“What’s wrong?”
“My brother… he’s back.
“What does he want from you? He has the pendant already.” She stood up.
“He’s here to finish what he started. I have to go stop him.” he was about to leave when Sylvia held him as tears filled her eyes.
“You can’t, you’re going to get yourself killed.” she cried.
“It’s okay.” Genova said looking at her, “I will be fine.” He ran out then bringing his wings out he flew away towards Kyrian, this time forgetting to shield the House, allowing Sylvia to run after him.
Genova flew to Kyrian, landed and took back his wings.
“Hello, Kyrian. Did you miss me?” Genova said to get Kyrian's attention. Kyrian turned sharply.
“Of course. I am still your brother, after all. But, you know it was only a short while back home.” Kyrian replied and immediately punched Genova on his chest. Genova bent over and coughed up some more blood.
“The poison has eaten deep into you.” Kyrian said squatting down to look into Genova’s face.
“Just as greed has likewise done to you that you think of nothing but how to kill your brother.” Genova said and looked into Kyrian eyes.
“Father has always loved me more, but he gave you the throne. It was meant for me, not you." Kyrian said and punched Genova’s chest again in fury.
“You were not worthy of the throne and you know it. You have learned dark magic just to show how unworthy you are. Father might be dead, but I will make sure to teach you a lesson today.” Genova said, exposed his wings, and lifted Kyrian up then began to punch him. Kyrian quietly received the punches till Genova stopped and but Kyrian recovered immediately. He fought back. He produced a sword out of the thin air by simply waving his hands cut Genova and toss him about. Genova fell on the floor, and Kyrian made a fireball to throw at Genova.
Sylvia, who had been watching from a close range ran forwards and stood in between them.
“I won’t let you kill him.” Sylvia said calmly to fight the tears in her eyes.
“No, Sylvia what are you doing here? Go, leave here immediately.” Genova said from the floor where he lay. Sylvia stayed there crying refusing to move.
“I said go." Genova tried to push her away.
“No, no, I won’t leave." Sylvia said shaking her head.
“Who is this? What is this?” Kyrian said and turning his fireball into smoke and puffing it away. He held her face looking into it as though it were an unidentifiable object.
“Kyrian, leave her alone.” Genova grunted.
“What is this, Genova? Have you fallen for a mortal?” Kyrian said and suddenly broke into a loud laughter.
“Leave her out of this.” Genova replied.
“Don’t worry, I will make you reunite in the afterlife.” Kyrian said.
“Obey me!” Genova barked and rushed Kyrian who was levitating above the ground with Sylvia in his arms. Kyrian lost his grip on her and she fell. Genova carried Kyrian away into the skies again, hitting him unconscious. Genova pulled Kyrian far away from Sylvia to the outskirts of the town in the mountains. Genova left Kyrian and hid behind a mountain. Kyrian woke up immediately and started to look for Genova.
“I know you are here, Genova. Come out!” Kyrian shouted with fury and began to blow the mountains up one by one. When he got to the third one he blew it up and large piece of rocks flew towards him, he dodged them all with ease but when he dodged the last one, he turned and saw Genova who stabbed him with a sword he conjured.
“Do you feel dizzy? Because the tables just turned.” Genova said to him. Kyrian was still stronger due to his dark energy, but Kyrian could not handle any damage. So, Genova had the upper hand, stabbing Kyrian multiple times till finally he collapsed on the floor. Genova stabbed Kyrian in his two hands.
“Argh!”Kyrian groaned in pain.
“You have done so many wrongs in your life." Genova said to him.
“I… I will make you pay… for this.” Kyrian cried.
“I can’t kill you, you’re still my brother.” Genova said and flew away. He had already exhausted all his energy, so, as soon as he got to Sylvia, he fell and fainted.
    _Gondolph_
Kyrian, however, summoned all his power and disappeared to Gondolph. As soon as he touched the grounds, he crawled to the palace. The guards ran towards him to help him but he scolded them away. When he got to the palace, he ordered Koneta to take him to crystal hall. He was drained by the time he got to the hall. He crawled to the Old Witch and stopped, but the witch didn’t move a muscle.
“You have to help me.” Kyrian said and paused shaking :
"Look what Genova did to me.” but the witch did not react. “Answer me!” he barked with the last energy he had.
“I gave you everything.” the witch said, and started walking closer to Kyrian, “but you failed one task, I won’t tolerate such incompetency. I believe it’s time for you to finally die.” she said as Kyrian lay there, helpless. She stretched out her hands and sucked life out of Kyrian until he turned white.
After Kyrian was drained of his powers, she killed one of her servants and carried the body out and told the Koneta and the guards he couldn’t make it. The guards who stood in front of the door, dropped to their knees. Then Koneta took the body and they all left. The witch went back into the crystal hall and sat down. Then white wrinkled man came and served her tea.
