(Preference: your first kiss together)

Gordie Lachance: You and your parents were standing in the living room of the Lachance house. Mourners swam around you in a sea of black clothes as your eyes scanned the room for Gordie. You would have asked Mrs. Lachance where he was but you knew better than to think she would have any clue as to her forgotten son's whereabouts. You overheard someone say something about 'how disrespectful it was that the boy hadn't left his room since getting back from the cemetery'. You gave them a glare that went unnoticed before making your way upstairs. You knocked on his bedroom door but got no answer. You cautiously opened the door to find him sitting on his bed, still in his suit, staring at the baseball cap in his hands. You sat down next to him. His head found its way to your shoulder and you wrapped your arms around him, both of you sitting in silence for quite a while. When he finally sat back up, his eyes filled with sorrow and you both leaned in. It was quick and more of a comfort kiss than one with romantic intent but in that moment, you were okay with that.

Chris Chambers: You, Chris, and the boys were hanging out in the treehouse. School had been out for a few weeks and you were already bored. You and Chris were in the middle of yet another round of '31' when the others decided to go to the diner for lunch. Not wanting to stop, you both said you would meet them there. Chris picked up a card, looking between you and his hand. He knocked on the table. Before you could lay down your cards, he asked if you wanted to make things interesting. If you won, he'd pay for your usual milkshake you got with lunch. If he won, he gets a kiss. Glancing at Chris's face, you tried to find some kind of tell but found none as usual. It was always hard to tell exactly what Chris was thinking but it was even harder when playing cards. You looked down at your hand, hiding a smile as you laid them out. You had 27; a king, a jack, and a seven in diamonds. Looking back at him, he held your gaze as he laid his cards down one by one. An ace. A queen. And finally...a nine. All in hearts. He had you beat. You blushed bright red but leaned in to him anyhow. After all, a bet is a bet.

Teddy Duchamp: You and Teddy were fully entrenched in a game of soldiers in his backyard. You were currently running from another invisible enemy. Teddy was pretending to shoot at them while you were in charge of throwing the "grenade" (an old broken yoyo). As the enemy closed in, Teddy ordered you to throw your last grenade. Unfortunately, you overestimated your throw and it landed on the roof of his back porch. Pausing your game, Teddy scaled the side of the house and retrieved it. As he was tossing it back to you, he lost his footing and fell, landing on his back in the grass. You rushed over to make sure he was alright but when you got there he wasn't breathing! Before you could panic, your babysitting training took over and you got ready to give him mouth the mouth. As you pressed your lips to his, ready to start giving him puffs of air, you felt his lips press firmly against yours. You sat there stunned for a moment before pulling away. Teddy laid there with a satisfied smirk on his face, saying he should fall off the roof more often. That earned him a punch in the arm and the silent treatment for the next week.

Vern Tessio: You and Vern were on your way back to your homes from a classmate's birthday party. The two of you walked in silence, reflecting on the day. It had been a normal party until the birthday kid's mom stepped away for a while and everyone decided to play spin the bottle. You and Vern had been stunned and weren't sure if you two should play but sat down in the circle anyway. A few rounds went by, people kissing and friends cheering. Then it was Vern's turn. He looked at you nervously before spinning it. Your heart fluttered at the thought of it landing on you and it looked like it would. Alas, you never would find out because as the bottle started to lose momentum, the birthday kid's mom came back. She took the bottle and ended the party with threats of calling parents. Now, as you and Vern were at the cross roads between your houses, you both knew what you wanted. You both leaned in for a simple peck on the lips. It might have been small but it didn't stop the guys from teasing you two when Vern inevitably told them.

(A/N: Not gonna lie. This one took me a while because of Vern lol I was having issues coming up with something that was cute but wasn't too dorky or baby-ish. Vern is just hard to write for sometimes because he's so naïve unlike the rest of them. Hopefully, I'll improve on that in the future lol Until next time! Thanks!!)
