Zay and I take a seat at our usual table. "So, do you think Lucas and Ellie confessed?"
"They better have... or I'll rip Lucas a new one."
I snort. "Same goes for Ellie."
"So... has anyone caught your eye since He Who Shall Not Be Named broke your heart?"
"Voldemort?"
"You know what I meant..."
"Well, there is someone. I just don't know if they feel the same... and it would kind of be a cliché."
"Spill!"
"Um... it'syou."
"I'm sorry, what?"
"It's you, Dummy!"
"Oh..."
I get up, gathering my things. "I knew this was a bad idea."
He grabs my hand. "It wasn't. I was just shocked... I feel the same, Maya."
"You do?"
"Yes, I do... can I kiss you?"
"Yes."
And just like magnets, our lips meet and we kiss.

And no, I didn't feel butterflies or fireworks. It was just... magical. Perfect is a word I would use to describe it. Not even Josh kissed me like this. Zay is gentle and puts his feelings for me into the kiss, unlike Josh. And no, I'm not trying to compare them.
We then pull away. "Was that ok?"
"It was more than ok..."
"Good."
"Ellie and Lucas are going to freak."
"Let's not tell them right now. I just want to stay in our bubble for a little bit longer."
I smile. "Ok. We'll stay in our bubble, but we tell them tomorrow."
"Sounds good, Love."
"Perfect..."
