Chapter 6 Questions....

After the whole shifting ordeal, Bryce went back to the supply closet with the secret passage way, and I back to my room to rest. He mind linked to check on me, but told me to get some sleep. When I showered, I made sure to allow enough time for the hot water to trickle all over my achy muscles.

Once satisfied, I washed myself clean, got out, and into my jammies. I layed down in my bed. There was so much swirling around in my mind. Despite it all, I quickly fell asleep. I guess I didn't realize just how exhausted I really was.

In the morning, I ran down, grabbed breakfast, and came back up to my room. I had alot to sort out, but I didn't know where to start. "This is so stupid, why couldnt my life just be normal? "Naaaa," I chuckled.

As I'm laughing to myself, I heard my phone buzz on my nightstand. I reached over to grab it, and read the name on the screen. (CHANEL) " About time". "Hello?" "Sandy's Chicken And Subs how may I help you?" " Chanel huffed. "Elle your crazy. But seriously, I have something to tell you" "All ears love, all ears" i say. "Okay well first off, having my mate is the best thing that has like, leterally, ever happened to me!", she said excitedly. ""Go figure", I rolled my eyes, jealousy pouring out of my words. "Anyways he cooks for me, spends all of his spare time with me, I can shop all I want, and sex is great. When we mated it felt like..." Okaaay Neeeel thank yoooouuuu. I'm happy for you, really I am. I don't want to know the details of your sex life please, and thank you." " sorry". I'm just so excited about my life Elle. You will be there soon. Which brings me to more important info."

"I've been talking to Sytell, and he said that my father is nuts". I laughed inwardly. "Surprise, surprise Nel. What else?" "Yeah I know right? She said plainly. So he said, in the meeting my father held, that he talked about a rogue problem that he needed help with. Josh Sytell only agreed to help because of me, because he said it seems like my father has, "other motives" that he's withholding from him and that he wanted to get me as far away from that place as he could." "When have we ever had a rogue problem? Chanel I have a feeling that there's alot that we don't know." I began to worry. Then i thought back to the rogue wolf attacking me in the clearing. Hmm...I wonder how that boils over with Sytell, seeing that he is the most powerful right now i thought to myslef. "Nel, a rogue tried to kill me during my first shift. I tell her hurridly. Chanel gasped loudly. "Brielle Hart how could you not tell me this...and wait. Your first shift? Have you mated?! What the hell is going on over there?!" "Yeah, and Ill get to that In a minute but the rogue said that his "alpha" would be proud of it. I don't know if that ties in together, but I have a feeling a lot is about to go down. Also, I know that Bryce is your brother. I knew he looked familiar. He's my mate and I love him. I have to get him out of here. We are trying to figure out an escape plan. Do you think you could talk to Sytell, to see if we could come there until we figure out our next move?" I wait desperately for a response. "Done, and done. I love you, and my brother. But that's why you two are destined for each other. He's a natural hot head being next heir and all. I just think you have yet to see it because your mates. I can honestly say from the heart Elle, my brother couldn't have had a better mate. I miss my brother, and I don't know what happened. He was around when we were kids, and then he was gone. We aren't aloud to speak to, or about him. My dad used his Alpha tone on us so we couldn't disobey, our wolves won't let us. I'm surprised my mom didn't freak out," Chanel said. "This is alot of information to take in. I have to link Bryce to form a plan, and get some answers."

"Thank you Soooo much Nel, you don't know how much I appreciate your help. I know he will be happy to see you again. Hopefully our plan works out. I'm going to link Bryce, and formulate a plan. I'll call you with the info. I love you Nel". She sounded a bit sad when she said "love you too babe, I'll see you soon". "Chow" I said into the phone to my best friend, no, my sister. "Chow...."

After we hung up the phone I sat for a second to prepare my questions for Bryce. Hopefully he had all of the answers.

"Bryce.....Bryce are you there??", I linked. "Yes I am here, are you ok? Have you rested enough?" I smiled. "Yes, I'm fine. Thank you for asking. Are you ok did anyone catch you?" "No I'm fine. Although afterwards I could feel the Alpha try to tap into my mind." I'm just happy he's ok for now. We will leave soon, I think. "Umm..ok well, I wanted to ask you questions. Nel said that your dad's being weird and that he made a deal with Alpha Sytell to fix a rogue problem. Sytell told Chanel, that it seems like he has other motives, that he's holding out on. She spoke about books, and scrolls, with an ancient prophecy about a supreme Alpha. One to rule over all. Do you know about this?", I asked hoping he had answers. "Yes but we need to leave, and find somewhere safe to live for now. I will explain it all when we are safe, so that there will be no need to worry. We must create a plan, and leave as soon as possible."

We went over the plan time and time again, until we made sure that it was well understood, and could be executed with precision. "Bry..i love you. I'm going to get ready. I'll call Nel, and let her know of our plan." "Nicknames already huh?" I could tell that that sweet smirk was on his face which in turn made me smile and shake my head. "Is that the only think that you heard?" I laughed. "I heard I love you, and I love you too." This guy is going to be the death of me yet. "I'll link you soon." "I'll be right here waiting."

We cut the link, and i was about to grab a backpack, to pack some money from our family stash. As soon as I turned toward my closet, my mom walked in." "Oh my......freaking noodles mom you scared me." My mom stared at me for a moment, and then tears started to form in her eyes. She crushed me into a hug. She pulled back and looked at me. " I heard what you said to Chanel. I love you, and I just want you to know that I support your decision. Although I fear for your safety and Bryces, I understand why you must do this. I love you, and I will miss you. I will not speak of it to your father until the time is right. Ive packed you money, and a couple of other things in a backpack that you will need."

I stared at my mom for a second. I had to take in everything that she said. Then I gave her the biggest hug, and told her that I love her so much. Nice to know I have my mom on my side.

"Brielle your old enough now. Take care of yourself. I know that your mate will take care of you, just like your father has taken care of you and I. Be careful. Call me to let me know when you have made it to the Sytell pack safely." My mom gave me another kiss on her forehead, walked to the door, took one more look at me, and walked away. I have the best mom in the world.

I picked my phone up and dialed Chanel. "Hello Bri? Sytell says that he will not only allow you to come, but that he will send warriors to meet you at the pack borders. When are you leaving?" Tell him that we thank him, and also to get ready to send them soon." "Well when do you want me to tell him to send them he's gathering them up as we speak." Good I thought.
