Brielle POV

I woke up to a warm pollow, but something didn't seem right. "I've never had a pillow, that felt quite like it's covered in skin", I thought to myself. I looked down to see arms wrapped tightly around my upper body. I began to smile to myself. I could get used to this.

"Good afternoon beautiful", Bryce said with a sweet smile. Good afternoon. I said back.", I said while sitting up on the bed. "May I join you?" He said while pulling the sheets off of his lower body. Geez this man is incredibly sexy. I stood there, staring at his abs, until I was snapped out of my thoughts, by the huskiness of his voice. "You like?" He said with a cocky grin. "In. Your. Wet. Dreams." I said with a smirk of my own, and walked off into the bathroom and closed the door. "So is that a no?" Bryce said on the other side of the door. "Yes sir", I yelled before I turned the water on, and got in. If I had achy muscles from the day before, it all melted away now. After my shower I brushed my teeth, and hair and walked out of the bathroom. Bryce was sitting on the bed with lunch for me. I ate while he showered. After lunch he said that he wanted to talk. We talked about everything that he, Sytell, and Nelly discussed. I have a feeling that something is goin to happen soon. The only thing is, we can train, but we don't really know what we are preparing for.

Bryce said that I was a slow runner basically, and thought that we should train. I feel like any wolf would "fin slowly" compared to my mate. He mentioned that Sytell would me training with us. I wondered how he knew so much, when he's been confined to that basement for years. "He's a born leader", my wolf said. I smiled to myself.

"Alright you two", Joshua Sytell shouted." Let's start with a three mile run. Then we can come back, and see what skills you have in combat." I nodded in agreement. We both shifted, and ran into the woods. Running with my mate was amazing. Watching the wind blow through his fur, made him look angelic. My mate, by far, has to be the best.
Trying to keep up with his pace got harder, with every mile. "I really did need this. I hadnt run like this in ages", I thought to myself. As we ran back around to where we started, we trotted over to an open area. He told me to shift through the mind link, so I shifted, and got dressed. He did the same, and then walked out towards me.

"Let's see what you got mate. I have to know that you can defend yourself." Oh he had no idea. We got into a fighting stance, and I lunged at him. He dodged it, by side stepping. Man was he fast! "Ok" I thought. I lunged again for him to move again to the other side. "Man, this guy is going to be hard to hit." "Brielle, fighting is not just about throwing a punch. You have to have strategy. You also must know how to protect yourself, while fighting. You're leaving yourself open for attack , and you will get hit." I nodded. I tried again, and almost got him in the face, but he grabbed my fist mid punch, and twisted my arm behind my back. "Dude seriously this isn't fair. Your an Alpha. Its like...How do I win against like...Iron Man or something?" He began to laugh but I was serious, and getting annoyed. I made a move, acting as if I was going to lung again but I crouched down, and kicked him by the ankles, trying to swoop him off of his feet. His legs are like steel or something. "Okay so this is impossible", I said with a raised brow. He looked down at me, while my leg was still out at his ankle, and reached his hand out. I grabbed it, and lifted myself up from the ground with his help. "Not half bad mate," he said with a grin. "You need to work on your physical strength." I squinted my eyes at him annoyed. "Yeah, yeah. Physical strength blah blah blah."

He went on to teach me a few moves, and taught me that because I am small, I could use my speed as an advantage. Also that being angry while fighting, clouds your judgment.

After we changed in our room we went to lunch at a restaurant in town. It was really nice, and so were the people. We sat down, and ordered our food. He ordered a burger and fries. I ordered a steak, a salad, garlic bread, a pie, and a milkshake. "Are you really going to eat ALL of that?" He looked at me with wide eyes. "Hey a girls gotta eat, ya know?" "I'm going to go completely broke, feeding you everyday" he mumbled. I laughed causing some of the milkshake to come out of my nose. He handed me a napkin, and I thanked him. Of course this would happen to me on my first date, how embarrassing. "Very!"my wolf said in irritation. "Whatever dog, he doesn't seem to care much." I retorted. After lunch we went back to the pack house to catch up with Nel, and Sytell. They were in Josh's study. Upon entry, we immediately noticed the serious looks that they had on their faces.
