In the remains of Kendratome, 198,000 feet below the surface of Murigen Ocean, a girl dashed across the ocean floor. The sea markets were alive, bubbling with dozens of early-risers, eager to purchase the latest skin whitening cream or the freshest fish right from the deep, dark parts of the sea.
The girl pushed her way through the crowds, heading towards a particular stall. There, right at the front, the stall awaited her return. A banner with the words "CORALIA'S ENCHANTING SEA TRINKETS" was hung at the front of the stall desk.
"CORA! I'm here! You won't believe what I found two nights ago. I tried to give it to you the day before, but mother signed me up for a last minute sea urchin catching class." The girl pouted, dumping a white bag full of shiny, sparkly objects that she had been carrying throughout the journey, onto the stall desk.
"Thank you, Kairi! I really appreciate it." Coralia simpered, smiling. She poured everything out from the bag onto the desk. Kairi beamed. She liked Coralia, because she was a down-to-earth (or sea?) person, and knew what she was doing.
Kairi admired people like that.
"Is this... a lander's wallet?"  Coralia asked incredulously. Landers were the humans that lived above the surface. "Yeah! Made out of.. something waterproof? Definitely not as useful as our seaweed wallets, though! Well, people will buy something interesting, right?" Kairi shrugged, grinning.
Coralia nodded. "Kairi, would you like to join me for seashell collecting later?" She suggested. "Down by Merman Cave? It'll be interesting!"

                       "Yes!"
